part of the Embedded Software Engineering team, you will drive the development and maintenance of the manufacturing test systems used for our eVTOL aircraft.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and implement full avionics embedded firmware. \nOversee firmware architecture for all avionics. \nEnsure development can conform to DO178-C \nOversee and conduct trade studies between different design considerations \nDesign and recommend sensor interfaces \nImplement code and V&V \nCollaborate with the systems engineering and other engineering specialty teams to define requirements related to the eVTOL aircraft and systems safety \nQualifications\nUndergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering \n5+ years of professional engineering experience \nExperience with DO178-C regulatory Process \nOne or more products from concept to aircraft production. \nExtensive experience with low level interfaces e.g., SPI, I2C, CAN FD, and UARTs \nExperience writing firmware (C/C++) for MCUs in embedded systems \nExperience writing python scripts and python development \nExperience reading circuit schematics with schematic capture tools \nProficient at troubleshooting circuits with appropriate lab tools \nPreferred Qualifications\n5+ years of relevant experience with embedded development \nM.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or Engineering. \nExperience with statistical analysis \nExperience taking at least one product through the entire development process \nFamiliarity/ experience with one or more of the following\nFAA Aircraft Certification Process \nDefense Airworthiness Process for Software \nPrototype and medium volume manufacturing \nBLDC Motor Controller integration/testing \nLithium-based battery testing/monitoring \nInterest in RC planes,
