This is a part-time position ideal for students interested in robotics, manufacturing, or engineering operations.\nThe role involves sitting near the deployed robotic cell during production runs, observing system behavior, documenting events, and communicating with the Pivot engineering team when issues arise.\nThis is not a heavy technical role. The most important qualities are reliability, attention to detail, and strong communication.\nResponsibilities\nBe present near the Pivot robotic cell during scheduled production runs\n\nObserve robot operation and note any interruptions, faults, or unusual behavior\n\nRecord timestamps and short descriptions of events (stops, resets, operator interventions, etc.)\n\nNotify the Pivot team via Slack/text when predefined issues occur\n\nProvide simple daily summaries of how the system performed\n\nHelp coordinate basic restart procedures if instructed by Pivot remotely\n\nServe as Pivot’s on-site point of contact during monitored shifts\n\nIdeal Candidate\nCurrent student at Shawnee State University\n\nReliable and punctual\n\nComfortable spending extended periods monitoring equipment\n\nStrong written and verbal communication\n\nDetail-oriented and organized\n\nInterest in robotics, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial technology is a plus\n\nNo prior robotics experience required\n\nSchedule\nPart-time, flexible around class schedules\n\nShifts coordinated based on OSCO production runs\n\nSome shifts may involve multi-hour monitoring
