Conceptualize and develop solutions based on project requirements and Company standards through the use of simulations/modelling to support design concept used.\n- Develop design specification sheet with relevant info related to the project and update as and when required and distribute to relevant parties.\n- Carry out detailed cycle time study for individual modules to select the appropriate machine or module design. Develop 3D model of the machine and/or modules assigned with optimised design for manufacturing, cost, quality and safety.\n- Initiate and carry out internal design reviews to share and explain the completed modules with other departments.\n- Initiate and carry out design review with customer base on project schedule\n- Revise design and documents based on both internal and external review·\n- Create and update flow chart for the module or the entire machine\n- Create part drawings and assembly drawings based on approved design and obtain approval from department manager\n- Create Bill Of Materials (BOM) for the modules assigned based on design schedule given.\n- Create drawing release file and send out drawings for quotation\n- Send out standard part list for quotation based on BOM.\n- Receive quotation and make price comparison spreadsheet\n- Raise PR and get department manager approval and send to Purchase department for negotiation and ordering.\n- Promptly support any design issues discovered during fabrication and /or assembly stages\n- Make necessary modifications needed, update design, drawings and get approval from department manager.\n- Release revised drawings to supplier and internal assembly team.\n- Support machine assembly team as and when necessary, with set up and fine tuning of machines.\n- Carry out all the activities based on the project schedule given.\n- Meet quality standards while maintaining working knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices, and upholding company policies, internal, customer standards for machine building and safety.\n- Develop, train, and educate junior engineers, guide technical direction, and act as a technical liaison between customers\n\nSkills\nNegotiation, Sales, Microsoft Office, Drawing, Electrical, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Design for Manufacturing, Project Management, Networking, Presentation Skills, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Technical Support","description_format":"text","description_chars":2527,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":1,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Biotechnology","Manufacturing","Search Engine Optimization (SEO)"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-26T08:00:00Z"}],"liveness":{"score":21,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":0.85,"p_active":0.547,"p_room":0.45,"age_days":28,"expected_fill_days":15,"reasons":["seen:28","win:tail","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-09-28T05:45:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":46980,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/pixel-automation-sales-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/pixel-automation-sales-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-29T01:43:05Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":1362,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":3638,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-30T00:00:00Z"}}}
