Together, we are committed to serving the world’s leading filmmakers and content creators with industry-leading services and next-generation solutions.\nAbout the role\nManage and lead creatives of our dubbing operations led by casting, translating, adopting and directing. Work closely with technical operations teams consisting of recording, mixing, mastering operators, QC and audio/media operators located in Seoul as an extension of a larger global team of individuals supporting Pixelogic’s global operation.\nIn this role the candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day deadlines, communicating with project management staff and company executives.\nThe ideal candidates will have a top-class understanding of the creative and technical aspects of the dubbing operations as well as industry trend and network of quality translators and voice actors. They will be highly motivated, possess a flexible attitude, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. In addition, they must be able to work as part of a team that deals with changing priorities and workloads. Attention to detail and efficient multitasking are mandatory.\nThe candidate will be trained as a Pixelogic Dubbing workflow expert to support, train and advise operations with global teams. The candidate will support the APAC executive team in rolling out new initiatives to customers and attending meetings as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).\nThe role reports to Director of Dubbing Operations in Korea.\nResponsibilities\nLead Korean dubbing’s creatives and operations in Korea \nLead casting, translating, adopting and directing recording sessions. \nOversee day-to-day dubbing operations \nMaintain constant communication with cross-functional support teams to ensure proper operations. \nTrain and document new/different procedures. \nImplement operational policies and quality assurance protocols to meet quality standards of leading streaming service providers. \nCollaborate and communicate directly with project management staff and company executives. \nPartner with Technology team to introduce and improve proprietary tools and systems. \nContinuously researching and identifying new tools and systems to enhance operational workflows and capabilities. \nSupport the APAC executive team and participate with customers as a SME.\nRequirements\n Fluency in Korean. Fluency in English is an advantage. \n Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trade-specific education \n 10+ years of experience in Korean dubbing for theatrical films and TV series. \n Experience in post-production media workflows \n Clear understanding of technical specifications in dubbing \n Familiarity and working knowledge with some of the tools and applications \n Passionate about quality, customer experience, and customer service excellence. \n Strong sense of ownership \n Ability to handle high-pressure situations and sensitive information.\n Benefits\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nWe are an equal opportunity employer.
