We have a senior team of experts in their fields. Whatever operational or execution decisions you make must work with the existing culture not against it.\n\nResponsibilities\nWork through the specific goals and challenges we have already identified, help leadership guide execution on them during these 12 months and leave the studio in a clearer operating position for when the Director of Operations returns.\n\nSupport leadership with decision making by providing cost calculations, risks and benefits analysis, resources and feasibility analysis, execution strategies for the new milestones, goals, initiatives, and projects.\n\nManage expense tracking, purchase approvals, vendor management, and operational budgeting processes.\n\nIdentify, track, and escalate decisions that are blocking product development in a timely manner, and follow up with the team to support resolution and maintain alignment on timelines and context.\n\nPartner with the Project Manager and the team in planning scenarios for product milestones scope, timelines, and cost to be presented to the leadership.\n\nCollaborate with leadership and the team to identify hidden inefficiencies in existing processes, and find solutions to optimise the delivery time and cost.\n\nStandardize recurring operational processes so the company can operate and scale more smoothly.\n\nRequirements\n5+ years of Operations Management experience in the tech industry.\n\nExperience working with multi-disciplinary teams/cross-functional teams.\n\nExperience working in pre-revenue/pre-profit startups and companies with established operational processes.\n\nExperience with expense tracking, budgeting, risk management, cost optimization, company documentation management.\n\nExperience working with fully remote, distributed production teams.\n\nFluent English and strong communication skills both written and spoken.\n\nWill be a plus\nExperience in game development or mobile apps development.\n\nExperience with web3 projects.\n\nExperience with (or a good understanding of) project management methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, and the judgment to apply them pragmatically.\n\nWorking Hours and Location\nRemote.
