You should also be able to maintain a clean workstation at all times. You should ensure that kitchen safety protocol is properly followed. Ideally you enjoy mentoring and training.\nYou will be trained to properly manage, stretch and hand toss dough. You will be expected to handle multiple food orders without compromising on quality.\nCook Responsibilities:\nPreparing pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings, such as tomatoes, peppers and onions.\nMonitoring the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times.\nCleaning workstations before and during pizza preparation.\nEnsuring that all utensils and cooking equipment are clean before each use.\nManaging all food order and ensuring that customers’ orders are completed in a timely manner.\nDisposing of expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift.\nPreparing pizza, salads and other food items according to company recipes.\nStoring excess food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage.\nEnsuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards.\nMonitoring supplies and re-stocking as needed.\nEnsuring that cooking utensils are clean before each use.\nCleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas.\nAssisting other cooks to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner.\nEfficiently resolving problems with customers’ orders.\nEnsuring that food health and safety regulations are followed.\nHaving a great attitude and being a team player.\nWashing dishes.\nMopping, sweeping and deep cleaning to keep the restaurant clean and sanitary for our loyal customers.\nCook Requirements:\nA food handler’s license.\nFood preparation and food handling experience is preferred.\nWorking knowledge of proper food handling procedures.\nThe ability to follow standardized recipes.\nThe ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\nThe ability to work in a team.\nExcellent communication skills.\nExceptional customer service
