Administratively, the AM team supports the business through varying supportive functions-whether through payroll, ensuring that all team members are accurately compensated for their time, or through purchasing, ensuring that the business has all items needed to secure sales, including beverage and dry goods. The Assistant Manager team works in collaboration with the General Manager and AGM, reaching targets for controllable spending, including COGS and labor.\nRole Responsibilities\nJob Summary Responsible for daily restaurant operations and actively ensuring a superior guest experience through excellent service. Supports the General Manager and entire team by organizing, planning and directing activities in all aspects of dining room service, front of house and beverage programming.About You\nAn ultimate people-person, who elevates the customer experience through genuine connection and guest interactions.\nMotivated, hard working and inspired by our horticultural surroundings.\nWorking knowledge of alcohol, coffee and beverage programs with a passion for creating beautiful lattes and standout cocktails.\nDriven to lead a team of committed coworkers with an entrepreneurial spirit to reach targeted goals.\nStrong communication, listening skills and emotional intelligence.\nEssential Duties\nResponsible for supporting and meeting daily restaurant operations to ensure a superior guest experience in our dining room\nCollaborate with the General Manager in analyzing and recommending methods drive sales, manage profitability, fulfill operating hours to include all controllable spending (payroll, COGS, invoicing)\nManage beverage program; maintain relationships with purveyors, manage and submission of inventory, participation in menu development\nAssists the General Manager in hiring, training, developing, scheduling and evaluating employees through daily line-up, staff programs and daily evaluation of restaurant service performance\nEnforces company standards, policies, and procedures, including sanitation, safety, dress codes, and cash handling\nInteracts with guests to obtain feedback; effectively responds to and handles guest issues and complaints at all times acting as a brand ambassador\nEncourages a positive work environment for all staff\nRole Qualifications\nQualifications\n4-5 years restaurant experience\n1 year management experience\nAbility to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)\nAbility to reach, bend and stoop\nThe Perks\nURBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
