The program is designed for new college graduates who are interested in applying technical engineering knowledge to support the reliable operation and planning of the regional power grid. Upon completion of the program, participants will be placed into a permanent position at PJM that aligns with their skills, interests, performance, and business needs.\nThis position will start in June 2027\nEssential Functions:\nComplete three eight-month rotations that provide hands-on experience in areas such as system operations, market operations, transmission planning, and related engineering support functions.\n\nApply engineering principles, analytical methods, and power system concepts to support studies, operational analysis, market analysis, planning activities, and technical problem solving.\n\nParticipate in structured learning and formal mentoring with program leadership, rotational managers, and technical subject matter experts.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly to support reliable grid operations, effective market administration, and long-term infrastructure planning.\n\nReceive exposure and support from former Corporate Rotation Program employees, senior and executive leaders through assignments and roundtable discussions.\n\nCharacteristics and Qualifications:\nRequired:\nBS, Economics EngineeringElectrical Engineering Electrical Power Engineering Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Operational Research\n\nDesigned for recent or upcoming college graduates; GPA: 3.0 or higher out of 4.0 scale\n\nAbility to apply electrical engineering concepts, including fundamental power system, circuit, and analytical principles\n\nAbility to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail\n\nAbility to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis using engineering judgment\n\nAbility to learn technical tools, troubleshoot issues, and provide analytical or operational support\n\nAbility to communicate technical information clearly and collaborate across teams\n\nExperience in quantitative and qualitative analysis\n\nAbility to use mathematical and electrical theory\n\nAbility to troubleshoot and provide technical support\n\nPJM is not STEM OPT eligible.
