The job responsibilities include financial analysis and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, maintaining project portfolios and assisting with calculations of PJM’s pricing allocation model. This person will conduct budgeting and forecasting for at least one operating division at PJM. This requires the development of forecasting methodologies and ongoing communication with division management. Financial analysis and reporting will be conducted on activity and anticipated activity for the division, providing detailed insight into variances and cost trends. Additionally, this person will assist with other Budget and Analysis departmental duties including monthly general ledger close, preparing and/or entering journal entries, and coordination of project funding within SAP.\n Essential Functions\nAssists in the development of the monthly financial reporting used by PJM Executive Team to monitor company and divisional financial performance.\nAssists with preparing forecasts and budgets for operational expenditures.\nAssists in development of financial analysis, reporting and presentation information to PJM management, Finance Committee, Audit Committee and PJM’s Board of Directors on current financial position and company performance on goals and long-range financial plans.\nProvides project financial data for preparation of budget and project presentation materials for the Executive Team, Finance Committee, Members Committee and PJM’s Board of Managers.\nAssists with analyzing project funding requests ensuring appropriate levels of Authorization for Capital (AFC) have been completed.\nEnsure data integrity and accuracy for project portfolio funding requests.\nAnalyzes project postings for accuracy, identifying and investigating unusual postings to ensure proper correcting journal entries are posted when necessary.\nMaintains and updates all project system and pricing model desk procedures and internal controls documentation.\nCharacteristics & Qualifications:\nRequired\nBachelor of science (or working towards) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration\nAbility to efficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint)\nAbility to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail\nAbility to communicate effectively and operate in a fast-paced team environment\nPreferred\nSAP knowledge, specifically CO and PS modules\nKnowledge of MS-Excel pivot tables\nExperience in Hyperion Planning\nExperience in quantitative and qualitative analysis\nEquivalent working experience (0-3
