This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for closures, vendor management, and mentoring junior recruiters in a fast-growing startup environment.\nThe ideal candidate has a strong bench sales background, established vendor and MSP relationships, a deep understanding of U.S. staffing models and work authorization types, and the ability to operate independently while building scalable processes.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nBench Sales & Consultant MarketingMarket and place bench consultants across C2C and W-2 requirements\nActively submit profiles to prime vendors, implementation partners, MSPs, and direct clients\nCustomize and position resumes to match client requirements\nMaintain accurate tracking of submissions, interviews, feedback, and closures in ATS/CRM systems\n\nVendor & Client Relationship ManagementBuild and manage long-term relationships with vendors, recruiters, and clients\nNegotiate rates, terms, and margins to ensure profitable closures\nCoordinate interview scheduling and follow-ups\nSupport execution of MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, and onboarding documentation\n\nClosures & Delivery OwnershipDrive the full lifecycle from submission → interview → selection → onboarding\nWork closely with internal operations, compliance, and leadership teams to ensure smooth onboarding\nMonitor start dates and early billing to ensure successful delivery\n\nLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead, guide, and mentor junior bench sales recruiters\nSet daily and weekly goals for submissions, interviews, and closures\nShare market insights, vendor intelligence, and best practices\nContribute to improving internal bench sales processes and outreach strategies\n\nAdditional / Bonus Responsibilities (Startup Support)Support OPT and early-career candidate recruitment as needed during startup and growth phases\nAssist with initial pipeline building and sourcing efforts beyond bench sales when business needs require\nCollaborate with leadership on scaling recruitment strategies in early stages\nOPT recruitment responsibilities are considered an additional / bonus scope and are not the primary focus of this role.\nRequired Qualifications6+ years of experience in U.S. IT staffing / bench sales\nProven track record of consistent closures in C2C and W-2 models\nStrong understanding of:\nU.S. staffing models (C2C, W-2, contract)\nWork authorization categories (H-1B, GC, EAD, OPT, CPT)\nEstablished relationships with vendors, MSPs, and recruiting networks\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills\nExperience working with ATS and CRM tools\nAbility to work independently in a startup environment\n\nPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in a Lead or Team Lead role\nExposure to direct client hiring or MSP
