If that is your thing, then pladis offers global ambition, a clear Vision and roadmap for success, challenge, and unrivalled opportunities to learn and make an impact\nClick “Apply” to get started.\nWhat will this role achieve?\nAs the Engineering Trainer, you will be fully responsible for the delivering of high-quality Engineering Training, supporting the recruitment and onboarding of site Engineering Apprentices and guiding their development throughout the programme.\nWhat will be your key deliverables?\nTo maintain the comprehensive Training matrix covering all Engineering capability requirements\nDesign and deliver Train the trainer programmes to build internal capability\nFacilitate the bi-annual training days to deliver compliance and engineering training\nDeliver high-quality technical training on: Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM’s) Machine size changes Guard removal and refitting General lubrication procedures Machine adjustments, set-up and parts replacement\nCreate, amend, verify and maintain DSOP’s (Dynamic Standard Operating Procedures) for all training areas. Ensuring all DSOP’s are accurate, compliant and aligned with site Engineering standards\nConduct competency assessments and sign-off engineers/apprentices once training is completed\nCarry out assessments as part of the ATM Recruitment process\nComplete annual training gap analysis and develop targeted training plans to address capability gaps. · Support the recruitment, onboarding and management of Engineering Apprentices\nGuide and support apprentices through their learning journey, ensuring progress against the apprenticeship framework.\nUse SFOL (or equivalent systems) to create KPI’s and dashboards that measure training effectiveness and completion rates.\nProvide regular reporting on training, progress, competency development, and compliance levels.\nBring your experience.\nEssential\nExperience with training-based programmes with the engineering field\nIdentifying skills gaps and providing solutions\nExcellent verbal and written and verbal communication skills\nExperience with facilitating training-based needs\nA background in engineering training\npladis does also use both Psychometric and Aptitude tests to support our processes so you may be asked to complete these as part of your process.
