Able to set-up the packaging lines, do changeovers, assemble/ disassemble packing lines, cleaning, and training.Able to perform all the positions on the line, Ex., able to cover as a packer and material handler (palletizer) as needed.\nProcessing Operators:Qualified to run at least two Enrobing lines on the wet processing end.\n KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:\nPackaging Operators:\nSet up the lines at the beginning of the shift.\n\nFill out the First Perfect Piece (document specifications completion)\n\nPerforms CCP & CQP - metal detector checks\n\nMonitor weights of products\n\nAbility to determine when and how to shutdown lines\n\nAble to handle routine duties including zipper change, film change, corrugate material to pack\n\nTroubleshoot issues with knives, scales, weights, jams, tape machines, censors\n\nTraining of new packers and material handlers\n\nMonitors and tracks productivity through accurate documentation\n\nLooks for opportunities to maximize line effectiveness, ex. Speed up lines\n\nResponsible for paperwork associated with consumptions\n\nFollows all GMP rules and regulations\n\nAssist in all positions/ jobs involved in the line (s) as needed or directed by management\n\nPerform allergen cleans\n\nPerform tool changes\n\nCleaning lines and production floor as needed\n\nOther duties as assigned by management\n\nProcessing Operators:\nSet up the Enrobing lines\n\nTemper the Enrobing lines\n\nManage the speed and quality of the lines\n\nUnderstand the components of the different products, nuts, caramel, chocolate, pretzels\n\nManage chocolate temperature readings\n\nMake proper adjustments to the lines, as needed.\n\nAssemble and disassemble water belts, conveyors, pumps\n\nFilter changes\n\nIdentify root cause for clogs, frozen lines, leaks, build-up\n\nHeat up piping\n\nNeeds to monitor production on the Dry End\n\nRecommends suggestions for improvement\n\nRequired to read, understand, and follow all customer specifications\n\nChangeovers\n\nCleaning of lines and full allergen cleans\n\nEffective training of new or current team members\n\nMonitors and tracks productivity/ quality and looks for opportunities to maximize line effectiveness\n\nMonitors and controls weights of products\n\nResponsible for monitoring, tracking, and completing all paperwork associated with consumptions\n\nFollows and ensures that all GMP rules and regulations are followed on the lines\n\nAssist in all positions involved in the line as needed or directed by management\n\nOther duties as assigned by management\n\nSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\n6 months of manufacturing experience for Packaging Operators\n\n1 year of manufacturing experience for Processing Operators\n\nAbility to read and understand customer specifications\n\nBasic math skills\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required\n\nADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:\nBase starting rate ranges from $22.00 to $23.50/hr. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
