Serves as active team member when is necessary, working with projects and training new people. Able to step into all roles within Production department based on production needs.\n KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES\nVerify all the operators set up the machine prior to the beginning and end of each shift.\n\nRun the first perfect pieces, first evaluations for enrober machine for Caramel, WF and MC, moisture checks for pretzels (use moister meter).\n\nInform QA technicians when every machine and the line is ready for the first evaluation.\n\nPerform the change overs, coach new employees, develop and implement new process in the production area.\n\nVerifying that all personnel are fully trained and assigned to the corresponding areas and a support like specialist job duties as required.\n\nSenior Operators will be expected to run all lines including Packaging, Wet and Kitchen\n\nSenior Operators are expected to be support to all Processing Operators\n\nExpected to have flexibility in schedule for purpose of shutdowns and restarts\n\nSenior Operators will ensure all areas of production run smoothly in case of an absent Supervisor\n\nEnsure all equipment is clean at the end of each shift, along with all surrounding areas\n\nDemonstrates the ability to advocate for Safety in the workplace\n\nAble to read and understand production schedule, reports, and materials requirements\n\nAble to step into all roles within Production department based on production needs\n\nAssure that all the procedures are followed for clean area in the company. This includes Kitchen, Enrobing and Packaging.\n\nEnsure all equipment is cleaned, and properly put back together\n\nAbility to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision\n\nFollow all GMP’S\n\nAll other duties assigned\n\nSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED\nAbility to lift 50 lbs\n\nAdheres to the allergen programs\n\nAbility to ready and speak basic English\n\nAdhere to all GMP programs\n\nMaintain records, communicate and correct out of control machine settings\n\nAbility to make simple math calculations and measurements\n\nAbility to use basic tools efficiently and make proper mechanical adjustments\n\nWillingness to work in a fast environment\n\nWear all required protective equipment\n\nAbility to follow and set a prime example for following Food and Safety guidelines\n\nQUALIFICATION REQUIRED\nEssential\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n\n3-5 years of experience working for the company in a prior Packaging and or Processing position.\n\nMinimum 1 year experience working with tools and troubleshooting knowledge running 4 lines\n\nRequired\nDisplay aptitude for Leadership\n\nPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED\nSelf-Starter\n\nTeam Player\n\nCollaborative\n\nSupportive\n\nPro-active\n\nStrong communicator\n\nCoordinator\n\nEfficient\n\nOrganized\n\nADDTIONAL JOB DETAILS:\nBase starting rate at $22.00/hr.
