With strong private equity investors, Advent International and Eurazeo, we have the financial capital and expertise to grow our capabilities and reach through acquisitions.\nOur mission is to create a world of connected commerce where payments are simple, secure, and seamless, enabling our partners to deliver exceptional experiences to their customers.\nRole Overview\nYou will protect Planet's enterprise AI platforms and autonomous agents, reducing exposure while enabling teams to adopt AI securely and responsibly.\nWorking with the Global SOC, engineering and platform teams, agent owners, and governance stakeholders, you will strengthen AI incident response and embed practical security controls across a multi-AI environment.\nWhat you will do\nProtect AI platforms, assistants, models, integrations, and autonomous agents from misuse, data leakage, excessive permissions, prompt-based attacks, insecure connectors, and emerging threats.\nPartner with the Global SOC to triage, investigate, contain, and learn from AI-related security incidents.\nDevelop AI-focused monitoring, detection logic, threat-hunting approaches, response playbooks, and measurable control improvements.\nIdentify and reduce exposure from unmanaged AI use, public agents, exposed credentials, risky integrations, insecure plugins, and over-permissioned identities.\nAssess AI applications, copilots, agents, models, retrieval systems, prompts, data sources, and third-party services through security reviews and threat modelling.\nImplement guardrails for identity, access, secrets, data handling, connector security, logging, monitoring, permissions, and human oversight.\nMaintain clear ownership, risk classification, findings, and remediation tracking, communicating progress to technical teams and senior stakeholders.\nWho you are\nExperience in security engineering, cloud security, security operations, detection engineering, application security, or a closely related discipline.\nPractical knowledge of AI and agent risks, including prompt injection, data leakage, excessive agency, insecure tool use, identity abuse, secrets exposure, and supply-chain risk.\nExperience with Microsoft security technologies, cloud platforms, SIEM, EDR/XDR, identity, logging, and automation.\nFamiliarity with enterprise AI services and developer tooling such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and Agent 365.\nAbility to translate technical risk into implementable controls and work constructively with platform, engineering, and agent owners.\nComfort developing or reviewing automation using PowerShell, Python, KQL, or similar languages.\nStrong investigation, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills, with an engineering mindset focused on scalable risk reduction.\nWhy Planet\nPlanet is an equal opportunity employer where diversity is valued, and all employment is decided based on qualifications, merit, and business need.\nCome and grow your career in the most exciting, fast paced technology market, with a business that delivers feel-good connected commerce.\nWe would love to hear from you -
