Position Description The Senior Facilities Engineer - Sterilization will be responsible for analysis, design, and support of all facility engineering related to the multi-year sterilization infrastructure projects at the North Haven, CT campus. They will serve as the owners-rep engineer on a broad array of projects at a clean medical device manufacturing facility including HVAC, exhaust, chillers, boilers, dry compressed air, etc. Position Responsibilities - A Day In the Life Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilitiesGathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibilityCoordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawingsPrepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisitionReviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costsInspects or directs the inspection of construction, installation progress, and commissioni
