This role is essential in supporting the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of our advanced medical devices.\nThis individual will be an integral member in the Software Team, working on cutting-edge technology in the electrophysiology field. They will take ownership of key features while working collaboratively with other engineering teams, and are passionate about working on a product that will have a positive impact on the lives of millions.\nAbout the Mapping and Ablation System:\nThe Mapping and Ablation System is an innovative medical technology designed to treat patients with cardiac arrhythmias. The system involves advanced mapping techniques to create detailed images of the heart’s electrical activity, helping physicians identify abnormal areas causing arrhythmias. Once identified, the Ablation System delivers targeted energy to disrupt these abnormal signals, restoring normal heart rhythm.\nResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:\nTest the functionality and performance of the systems software\nDevelop and execute manual test plans and scripts designed to detect problems\nMaintain broad understanding of current testing software technologies.\nEnsure systems software meets technical and functional requirements\nPerform workflow analysis, document test results and recommend quality improvements\nWork with engineers to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models.\nReviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies.\nRequired Qualifications:\nKnowledge of Medical Product verification, IEC-62304 and FDA guidance in a technical discipline, preferably software related (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field) with a minimum of 2 years of software verification experience.\nStrong understanding of creating test protocols for verifying software requirements.\nAbility to work with QA to ensure testing meets Quality and Regulatory needs.\nStrong understanding of good documentation practices\nExperience using a tool or repository for managing test cases (Polarion, TFS, TestRail, JAMA, Matrix, etc).\nAbility to manage, track and upgrade multiple hardware and software configurations.\nBachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience\nOR Master’s degree with a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProficient in programming languages such as Python, C++/C# or similar languages\nExperience debugging hardware with tools such as oscilloscope and function generators\nExperience writing, executing, and maintaining test automation scripts in Python or a comparable language.
