In addition our card-present and e-commerce payment gateway opportunities across the America’s.\nThis is a customer-facing role where you’ll use your technical knowledge to provide sales support and act as the bridge between sales, product, engineering, and delivery-helping prospects and clients understand how Planet’s products and solutions can support their business objectives and solve their payment challenges.\nYou will be responsible for managing the entire solution lifecycle, collaborating with commercial teams and customers to identify opportunities, define customer requirements, and initiate internal projects and delivery processes. Your efforts will ensure successful implementation and deployment, directly contributing to both project outcomes and revenue growth.\nWhat you will do:\nSupport Commercial teams throughout the sales lifecycle, from discovery through close, for acquirer multi-currency, Integrated payment and e-commerce opportunities.\nAct as the technical and solutions expert in the region for Planet’s products, integrations and platform capabilities.\nLead customer discovery sessions to understand business requirements, technical environments, and integration needs.\nAlign the Planet end-to-end payment solutions with the customer use cases, including DCC, MCP, POS integrations, online checkout flows, and omnichannel experiences.\nDeliver compelling solution presentations and product demonstrations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nRespond to RFPs/RFIs and contribute to proposals with solution architectures and technical content.\nCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide feedback from the field and influence roadmap priorities.\nSupport proof-of-concepts and pilot implementations where required.\nEnsure smooth handover from sales to implementation, documenting solution designs and customer requirements.\nStay current on Planet’s product portfolio, payment technologies, and industry trends.\nWho you are:\nExperience in a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Technical Pre-Sales role within payments.\nStrong technical knowledge or understanding of payment ecosystems, including:\nMulti-Currency Solutions (DCC and MCP)\nCard-present payments (Oracle, Shiji, Agilysys, etc)\nE-commerce gateways and online checkout\nAPIs and system integrations\nComfortable engaging with both business and technical stakeholders.\nExperience supporting enterprise or mid-market commercial sales teams.\nAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.\nStrong presentation and communication skills.\nFamiliarity with POS systems, commerce platforms, or hospitality/retail environments is a plus.\nSelf-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.\nWhy Planet:\nPlanet is an equal opportunity employer where diversity is valued, and all employment is decided based on qualifications, merit, and business need.\nCome and grow your career in the most exciting, fast paced technology market, with a business that delivers feel-good connected commerce.
