This position is responsible for advanced threat detection, incident response planning, cyber resiliency strategy, and compliance with enterprise and federal security standards. The engineer acts as a subject matter expert and collaborates across teams and with external partners to protect mission-critical applications and infrastructure.\nResponsibilties\nResponsible for leading the design, development, and operations of secure cloud platforms and advanced threat detection, incident response planning, cyber resiliency strategy, and compliance with enterprise and federal security standards.\nProvide subject matter expertise on cybersecurity and collaborates across teams and with external partners to protect mission-critical applications and infrastructure.\nLead the development of enterprise-wide cloud security policies, incident response plans, and cyber resiliency strategies.\nDesign, implement, and continuously improve secure cloud-based architectures and monitoring systems.\nAnalyzes complex security data to detect, remediate, and prevent cyber threats\nGuides platform and application teams on secure coding and architecture best practice, coordinates vulnerability management activities and provide actionable recommendations.\nRepresent the organization in coordination with industry and government security partners.\nOversees COMSEC operations and crypto key management systems (CKMS).\nEnsures compliance with federal and industry standards, including NIST, CNSSI 4009, and DoD policies.\n\nQualifications\n8+ years of cybersecurity experience, with 3+ years in a cloud security role and a deep knowledge of cloud security across cloud environments.\nExpertise in security architecture, network defense, data protection, and threat modeling.\nDemonstrated experience in incident response, log correlation, and risk assessments.\nThe ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex information Strong communication and leadership skills;
