The successful candidate will collaborate with federal customers, business stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional delivery teams to build secure, scalable, and user-centered solutions. The work will improve workflow automation, data quality, reporting, transparency, and operational decision-making across Department of the Interior programs.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and enhance Microsoft Power Platform solutions supporting Department of the Interior programs and business operations.\nBuild and customize enterprise Model-Driven Apps using Microsoft Dataverse.\nDesign Dataverse tables, relationships, security roles, business rules, forms, views, business process flows, and data-quality controls.\nDevelop and maintain secure external-facing experiences using Microsoft Power Pages.\nCreate Power BI semantic models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations for executive and operational users.\nBuild Power Automate cloud flows for submissions, document routing, notifications, approvals, compliance activities, and other business processes.\nIntegrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Azure services, REST APIs, and approved external systems.\nImplement sound application lifecycle management, source control, solution packaging, environment variables, connection references, and deployment pipelines.\nCollaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and users to translate business needs into maintainable technical solutions.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, peer reviews, demonstrations, testing, and release activities.\nTroubleshoot defects, optimize application and report performance, and provide production support.\nCreate and maintain solution designs, configuration documentation, technical procedures, release notes, and knowledge-transfer materials.\nApply federal security, privacy, records-management, accessibility, and governance requirements throughout the solution lifecycle.\nMentor team members, promote reusable patterns, and contribute to Power Platform standards and development practices.\n\nQualifications\n5+ years of professional experience delivering Microsoft Power Platform solutions.\n3+ years building enterprise Model-Driven Apps and designing solutions on Microsoft Dataverse.\n2+ years developing and supporting Power Pages sites.\n3+ years creating Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and data visualizations.\nHands-on experience with Power Automate cloud flows, business process automation, and integration patterns.\nExperience integrating Power Platform applications with REST APIs, Microsoft 365 services, and external systems.\nExperience with solution-aware development, managed solutions, environment strategy, source control, and automated deployments.\nExperience working within Agile delivery teams and communicating directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience supporting a federal customer, public-sector program, or other regulated environment.\nTechnical experience with:\nModel-Driven Apps\nMicrosoft JavaScript, and portal security patterns.\nExperience with complex Dataverse security models, auditing, duplicate detection, data migration, and integration.\nExperience with DAX, Power Query, row-level security, deployment pipelines, and performance optimization in Power BI.\nExperience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Application Insights, or related Azure services.\nExperience working in Microsoft federal cloud environments, including GCC, or under FedRAMP-aligned controls.\nFoundational knowledge of Power Apps Code Apps, including the pro-code
