We also have team members in two company-owned offices in China, as well as in Europe.\n\nJob Overview\nPlanetArt is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for our Woodridge facility to lead daily quality inspection activities across inbound, in-process, and outbound operations. This role supervises a team of quality control inspectors, helps maintain consistent quality standards, and works closely with Production, Sourcing, and Product Development to address issues and improve processes. The ideal candidate has experience in quality assurance within a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment, is comfortable analyzing data and leading corrective actions, and can effectively train and support a team in a fast-paced setting.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nKey Responsibilities\nSupervise and support a team of quality control inspectors across inbound, in-process, and outbound inspection activities.\nTrain, coach, and support quality control inspectors to ensure consistent application of inspection methods, quality standards, and operating procedures.\nMonitor team performance and provide feedback to improve accuracy, productivity, accountability, and consistency\nAssign daily responsibilities and priorities to QA personnel to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient execution of inspection tasks.\nInspect products received from vendors to ensure the goods meet established specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations \nMonitor, input, and analyze inspection data to identify trends, track performance, and drive achievement of quality metrics \nLead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions for systemic quality issues and other product nonconformances \nPartner cross-functionally with Production, Sourcing, and Product Development to support daily operations and resolve quality-related issues.\nEscalate critical quality concerns in a timely manner and collaborate with internal teams to drive effective resolution.\nIdentify recurring defects, process gaps, and quality trends, and recommend improvements to reduce repeat issues and improve overall product quality.\nHelp maintain accurate quality records and support updates to SOPs, inspection criteria, and other quality documentation.\nEnsure nonconforming materials or products are properly identified, contained, and communicated to prevent downstream issues.\nPromote a culture of teamwork, respect, accountability, and integrity in support of company values \nPerform other related duties as assigned \nRequirements\nWhat You Should Have\nSkills, Qualifications, and Requirements\n2+ years of quality assurance or quality control experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.\n1+ years of experience leading, training, or supervising employees in a quality or operations setting.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to accurately enter, review, and analyze data.\nBilingual in English and Spanish required, with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels and departments.\nExperience using warehouse management systems; High Jump WMS experience preferred.\nAbility to prioritize work effectively, manage competing demands, meet tight deadlines, and perform well under pressure.\nAbility to analyze information, identify issues, and support corrective actions in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and apply quality standards consistently.\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nWhat You Can Expect\nWorking Conditions\nWork is performed in a fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to heavy machinery, dust, fluctuating temperatures and moderate noise levels.\nPosition involves working around machinery with moving parts\nThe position may require alternating shifts, depending on volume\nPosition requires regular lifting of up to 50 pounds with or without assistance\nPosition requires movement of items from machinery to other locations\nPosition requires regular handling of materials, packaging, lifting, pulling, pushing, bending\nFrequent sustained walking and /or standing for prolonged periods of time\nBenefits\nThe compensation range for this position is $19 -
