The pace is fast, and the work is innovative, allowing everyone to explore growing responsibilities.\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Team.\nYou will combine software development (Dev) skills with IT operations (Ops) expertise to optimize the software lifecycle. Your main goal will be to enhance collaboration between development and operations teams by automating and optimizing key processes, such as software release, infrastructure management, and application monitoring.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong experience both in development and operations, focusing on process automation, infrastructure management, and continuous integration (CI/CD).\nYou will manage and continuously improve our technology stack, support development teams, and ensure our applications and infrastructure's efficiency, scalability, and security.\nYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:\n· Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enhance the efficiency of development and release processes;\n· Manage and optimize the existing infrastructure using cloud technologies and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes);\n· Automated infrastructure management using tools like Terraform;\n· Monitor and optimize the performance of applications and services in production;\n· Collaborate with development teams to ensure the adoption of DevOps practices and the integration of new features;\n· Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system availability and resilience;\n· Manage and resolve incidents and operational issues, performing root cause analysis activities;\n· Maintain a strong focus on security by implementing best practices and managing vulnerabilities;\n· Contribute to the DevOps culture through training and mentoring of other team members.\nYOUR BACKGROUND:\nYou have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field and at least 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar role, with a proven track record in both software development and IT operations.\nIn particular, you bring with you:\n· Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).\n· Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).\n· Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\n· Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools.\n· Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).\nThe following are an advantage:\n· Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and system architecture;\n· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).\n· Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices;\n· Strong problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis;\n· spirit of initiative and operational autonomy;\n· ability to work in a team and in an integrated way with the other corporate functions;\n· proactivity and aptitude for problem-solving;\n· self-control and stress management;\nANOTHER IMPORTANT POINT:\nAt Planetek Hellas , results are more important than time, and our respect for people takes priority over their skills.
