Flexibility and forward-thinking views are important for success.\nEssential Functions and Job Responsibilities\nConducting research, analyzing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports. \nDetermining program requirements and making recommendations. \nAnalyzing programs, policies, procedures, and systems and making recommendations to optimize these. \nDrafting new or revised policies and procedures. \nAssisting program managers with the development of budgets and schedules as well as tracking metrics. \nIdentifying and resolving issues and problems. \nPlanning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operations and programs. \nPreparing and presenting reports and recommendations \nCollaborates with executive teams and IT groups to create a framework and process for continuously improving and testing new content. \nRepurposes content for a variety of audiences/stakeholders and uses. \nPerforms quality control of content. \nEdits narrative and graphic products to identify and correct grammatical formatting and logic errors and to identify logical inconsistencies that will require author attention. \nEstablishes processes and materials to build knowledge sharing based on how information flows from products/product line managers and across the organization. \nMinimum Requirements\nBachelors in business discipline, computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education). \n5+ years of experience. \nMust have experience in editing narrative and graphic products to identify and correct grammatical formatting and logic errors and to identify logical inconsistencies that will require author attention. \nMust have knowledge in how to plan, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of operating programs. \nMust be able to use source data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and business processes. \nMust be able to use qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of the operations \nMust have experience in the application a variety of word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and scheduling tools. \nMust have experience in explaining in simple language scientific and technical ideas that are difficult for the average reader to understand. \nAdvanced writing and editing skills \nA firm grasp of the challenges of communicating in the various channels available today \nFlexibility, ingenuity, creativity, diplomacy, and a willingness to learn and adapt \nProficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, or other editing and GUI editing software. \nAbility to obtain and maintain a Tier II Moderate Risk Background Investigation. \nLegal authorization to work in the U.S. \nDesired Qualifications\nExperience supporting large Cabinet-level federal agencies, ideally the Department of Veterans Affairs. \nProvide expert guidance to optimize systems, procedures, and processes, evaluate operational and program effectiveness and develop solutions to make improvements or address performance issues. \nStrong project management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills \nAbility to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. \nCapable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail. \nExcellent ability to communicate across most mediums and settings. \nCompany Benefits\nPSI offers full-time, benefits eligible employees a competitive total compensation package that includes paid leave, and options for employer sponsored group medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, AD&D coverage, legal services, identity theft, and accident insurance.
