PSI is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to support project leaders from various teams leading the end-to-end systems engineering and mission critical project execution. This is an amazing opportunity to directly support the global Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Enhanced Mission Integration (AEMI) program at Hurlburt Field, FL.\nYou will be part of the Enduring Product Management Engineering and Development team supporting the AEMI program on Hurlburt Field on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida. This team is made up of various engineering disciplines to cover the breadth of AFSOC mission sets and has several active projects that will require you to jump right in to support. As a member of the Life Cycle Management Team you will be co-located with essential elements of the team ensuring high standards of scrutiny and collaboration.\nEssential Functions and Job Responsibilities\nProvides systems engineering support with focus on integration of existing program of record and existing systems. \nSystems Performance analysis. \nEvaluates Test Data.\nEvaluates and implements Model Based Systems Engineering best practices across the lifecycle.\nEnsure systems engineering principles are applied per the AFSOC Development & Engineering process. \nPerform requirements management, configuration management, and data management for system improvement or quick response solution being developed. \nDevelop DOD Architecture Framework artifacts. \nAssist client in defining systems architectures and technology roadmaps that align with client vision.\nAssess and estimate projects with standard techniques to justify accurate resources required for the proposed development and engineering project. \nMinimum Requirements\nBS in Systems or other Engineering discipline from institution recognized by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) for approved curriculum. \n7 years experience in Systems Engineering. \nActive T3 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.\nKnowledge of Special Operations, SOCOM, and C4ISR systems. \nKnowledge of military tactical data links, encryption equipment, and radio communication devices. \nKnowledge of DoD information assurance, policy, and regulatory requirements. \nKnowledge of and experience in Local Area Network (LAN) design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment. \nExperience in the design and managing complex systems over the product life cycle. \nEnsures integration and factoring product support concerns into developed solutions. \nExperience in applying systems engineering principles as identified in ISO/IEC/IEEE 24641:2023.\nExperience with configuration management industry standards such as EIA 649. \nPhysical Demands\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds independently as part of regular job duties.\n\nCompany Benefits\nPSI offers full-time, benefits eligible employees a competitive total compensation package that includes paid leave, and options for employer sponsored group medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, AD&D coverage, legal services, identity theft, and accident insurance.
