The platform is scaling rapidly through numerous industry technology partnerships, including a strategic AI partnership with Iress Xplan.\nThe Role;\nWe’re now looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to bridge PlannerPals application development with a strong background in devops or enterprise-level agentic engineering.\nYou will focus on:\nDesigning and building key features of our solutions\nDevelopment and design of CI/CD pipelines, including Infrastructure as a Code and the enablement of developers \nBuilding and deploying AI agents to production.\nEnsure that coding and testing standards are upheld\nThis role offers the opportunity to work closely with the founders at a defining stage in our growth.\nTasks\nResponsibilities;\nSolution design;\nOwn the end-to-end solution design for new features within a defined architecture framework\nMake pragmatic decisions about trade-offs (scope, performance, scalability, security) in a fast-moving environment.\nHands-on development;\nTake ownership of complex or high-impact pieces of work, especially where the architecture, integrations or performance considerations are non-trivial.\nDesign, build and optimise the journeys of our service using our tech stack:\nBackend: Python\nFrontend: React + Flutter\nData / Infra: Postgres, AWS ( S3, ECS etc.)\nWrite high-quality, testable code and contribute to our continuous integration and deployment pipelines.\nInfrastructure development;\nDesign and optimise reliable CI/CD pipelines, resilience, observability and security within AWS (i.e. CDK, Terraform) utilising workflows such as Github Actions, GitLab CI for example\nManage AWS resources and containerised applications deployments via Docker \nBuild and maintain a scalable infrastructure utilising Terraform (CDK within AWS)\nTechnical ownership & continuous improvement;\nHelp evolve our platform architecture for performance, resilience, observability and security as we scale.\nIdentify and drive improvements to developer experience, tooling and internal processes (e.g. testing, release, monitoring, on-call), in collaboration with both in-house and outsourced engineers.\nRequirements\nKey Requirements;\nEssentials;\nDegree in Computer Science or related developer education (e.g. a reputable coding bootcamp) or equivalent practical experience.\n7+ years’ experience designing, developing, shipping and maintaining backend applications using Python and front-end web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (ideally React.js), including operating at senior level.\nStrong DevOps Experience at production level administration level with AWS, Azure or GCP\nFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack. \nExperience working with both Python and React, and some experience working with AWS hosting/back-end services.\nSignificant experience using agentic coding tools\nExperienced in designing, building and maintaining automated tests and contributing to CI pipelines.\nHas worked with other developers in an agile set-up(e.g. sprints, stand-ups, retros).\nExperienced in debugging and fixing live incidents in time-pressured situations, and in improving systems/processes to prevent recurrences.\nExperience of working with continuous deployment pipelines (you don’t have to build everything yourself, but should be comfortable working within and improving such setups).\nStrong understanding of industry trends and development best practices- especially regarding security, application performance and scalability.\nHas a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail and the ability to work independently with a team-oriented work ethic.\nStrong communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration, and confidence interacting with customers and partners in a technical leadership capacity.\nIs proactive, initiates improvements, and offers assistance even without being asked.\nComfortable in using AI code development tooling\nRight to work in the UK\nNice to have’s;\nExperience inB2B SaaS, ideally in fintech, wealth tech or other regulated industries.\nExperience integrating with CRM systems and/or financial platforms.\nExposure to observability and monitoring tools (e.g. logging, metrics, tracing).\nBenefits\nCompetitive salary + employee share options\nRemote-first work environment (UK-based team) with a collaborative team culture\nRegular team meet-ups to foster team synergy and alignment\nWork directly with the founding team -
