where local expertise meets the global knowledge and values of the Plansee Group.\nPosition type: HourlyKey Responsibilities:\nComplete at least one plant engineering project with guidance and mentorship from experienced engineers.\nRead and interpret single-line diagrams and electrical drawings.\nAssist with engineering calculations, equipment specifications, and electrical system design activities.\nEvaluate and justify electrical equipment and component selections based on technical, operational, and cost requirements.\nInteract and coordinate with contractors daily on electrical construction and facility improvement projects.\nLearn and apply plant engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.\nAssist with interpreting and applying National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.\nLearn and apply PLC, HMI, and industrial network configuration, troubleshooting, and programming concepts.\nCollaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to improve equipment reliability and system performance.\nParticipate in and learn industrial electrical safety practices, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc flash awareness, and safe work procedures.\nQualifications:\nCurrently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology and/or equivalent.\nInterest in power systems, industrial electrical design, automation, controls, and manufacturing operations.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nFamiliarity with NEC/OSHA Regulations is a plus\nFamiliarity with PLCs, HMIs, and network systems is a plus\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment\nExcellent communication and documentation skills\nRequirement for All Co-op/Intern Positions:\nCurrently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university\nA minimum GPA of 3.0\nAvailable to complete the entire 3-6 month assignment\nHave the right to work in the U.S. without restriction\nOutstanding problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills\nExcellent writing/verbal communication and presentation skills\nAccomplished computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and database experience\nStrong work ethic and the ability to work in cross-functional teams to deliver concrete project deliverables in a timely manner\nWhat you’ll Gain\nExposure to industrial power, controls,
