May prepare reports for employment records, file employment records, or search employee files and furnish information to authorized persons. The successful candidate should possess general knowledge of human resources principles and practices.\nResponsiblities Would Include:\nGreet employees entering the HR department. Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person. Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions\nCompile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities. Request information from previous employers, and other references to determine applicants' employment acceptability. Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork\nPrepare badges, passes, and identification cards, and perform other security-related duties. Assist with employee relations and any policy or procedure questions. Companywide employee communication - i.e., weekly employee news. Administration of service award and retirement program\nDistribute company mail and manage incoming and outgoing mail. Point of Contact for unemployment claims and questions. \nScheduling events, programs, and activities, as well as the work of others. Maintaining employee files and the HR Information Systems\nPreferred Education and Experience: \nAssociate’s Degree from an accredited college\nHigh level of confidentiality Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Knowledge of HRIS systems; \nUltimate Software and Workday experience is a plus.Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and people skills\nDetailed oriented, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
