If you are ready to create unforgettable experiences and grow as a person and as a professional, apply today.\nWe are currently recruiting for the position of Guest Services Host/Hostess for Disney Cruise Line.\nYou will report to the Guest Services Manager\nResponsibilities:\nProvide front desk / Guest services support for all Guests\nAnswer main switchboard calls; appropriately route calls\nFacilitate Guest requests & assist in the delivery of Guest items to staterooms\nProvide Guest information and assistance as needed on Island Operation\nMaintain a cash float of at least $2,500.00 US; responsible for cash handling, currency\nexchange and balancing monies\nTake action and follow through on all Guest issues\nAssist Guests through application-based channels, via telephone and in person\nResponsible for computer work associated with Guest transactions\nAssist in any other areas of Guest Services, as required\nProvide internet support for Guests including personal one-on-one assistance, assisting with\npersonal devices connecting to Wi-Fi and recording Guest internet issues\nProvide DCL App support for Guests including personal one-on-one assistance.\nRequired Basic Qualifications\nMinimum one year front desk/guest services experience in a high volume hotel / resort /\ncruise ship within the last 5 years\nFamiliarity with front office computer software and proficiency in common software such as\nMicrosoft Programs\nComfortable with new technologies including smart phone applications and internet packages\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills\nAbility to work in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment\nAbility to deal with challenging situations and handle multiple situations simultaneously\nMulti-lingual preferred\nAdditional Information:\nThis is a shipboard role\nYou must:\nBe genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel\nBe willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan\nBe willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control\nIf applicable, be willing to share a confined cabin with other crew members and appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulations\nYour Responsibilities:\nHave a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)\nComplete a pre-employment medical\nObtain a criminal background check\nBring approved work shoes\nDisney Cruise Line is a drug-free workplace.
