If you are ready to create unforgettable experiences and grow as a person and as a professional, apply today!\nResponsibilities:\nProvide an exceptional Guest experience by setting up, creating, producing, and selling\nphotographic souvenirs that meet or exceed the company’s standards of quality.\nExpertise in photographic skill that create an engaging experience for our guests\nThe ability to interact with Guests in a positive and helpful manner to enhance the perception\nof their experience in posing for and buying cruise photos.\nShoot photographs of Guests in various natural and studio light locations in accordance with\nservice standards and location operating guidelines.\nTake high quality photos in both indoor and outdoor settings with a variety of lighting settings.\nEnsure every photo generating activity is performed to standards including set up, during\nGuest interaction, and tear down.\nFocus on photography sales and conversion. Sell all product offerings (i.e. images,\nphotobooks, private portrait studio, retail, etc.)\nManage POS function with sales, return, guest service inquiries. Manage retail and supply\ninventory.\nEnsure all camera and related photography equipment is in working order. Assist if able to\ncorrect or report equipment abnormalities to leadership.\nPartner with other departments to utilize their space in order to create exceptional photos for\nour guests\nTransport studio equipment to and from different locations around the ship. Setup and break\ndown portrait studios as directed and ensure compliance with safety standards. (This could\ninclude the use of ladders to set up and breakdown multiple backdrops and lights and the\nneed to carry photo equipment for long periods of time)\nMinimumRequirements\nEssential:\n1-year DSLR experience\n.Able to push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds including up and down ladders.\n.Comfortable working outdoors in inclement weather both in warm and cold climate, including\nour islands which include extensive outdoor work in humid climates\n.Flexible to help with tasks that goes beyond the photographer role\nComfortable working in a ever changing fast paced environment: EX: at a character Meet &\nGreet, a photographer could be interacting with up to 60 families, taking 5-6 photos per family=\n300 photos per hour\nDesirable:\nShip experience preferred\nEducational qualification in photography or similar\nAdditional Information:\nThis is a shipboard role\nYou must:\nBe genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel\nBe willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan\nBe willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control\nIf applicable, be willing to share a confined cabin with other crew members and appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulations\nYour Responsibilities:\nHave a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)\nComplete a pre-employment medical\nObtain a criminal background check\nBring approved work shoes\nDisney Cruise Line is a drug-free workplace.
