We are always looking for dependable & talented business professionals that will help us to grow and to continue our “Can Do” tradition.\nEssential Functions:\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nJob Summary:\nWith reporting responsibilities to the AVP of Rail Operations, this position is directly responsible for performing essential rail functions in a safety sensitive and production environment. Duties include: rail operations, load out/wash out operations, and performing light maintenance, training new staff when requested, record keeping and communication of issues with management.\nEssential Functions/Duties:\nLoadout/Washout Operations\nCoordinate, schedule and supervise all maintenance of loadout, wash and rail department equipment.\nDaily document Pellet Control Survey, clean up and inspection.\nWeekly Rail Scale inspection.\nWeight car verification.\nWashout of hopper cars prior to loading per plant and ISO operational procedures.Inspection of empty hopper car before washing.\nSafe operation of vacuum system if heel is present.\nSafe operation of hopper car wash system.\nOperation of drying system.\nUpdate washed car information into plant Wonder Ware Software Program.\n\nLoad all PP production into hopper cars per plant and ISO operational procedures.Operate Loadout Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) computer\nConfirm “Clean Car” in Wonder Ware software program.\nSafe operation of the Fuller - Full load system.\nApply hatch bonnets and filters.\nRecord security seals in Wonder Ware software program.\nRecord Tare “Empty” and Heavy “Loaded” Weight of Hopper car in Wonder Ware software program.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired Education and Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMust be able to safely operate a rail king and must pass site rail king certification. \nPreferred Education and Experience\nPrevious warehousing/rail experience is preferred. \nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. These tasks include, but are not limited to:\nMust be able to perform physical labor such as; lifting up to 55 lbs., moving up to 250 pounds, climbing ladders, operate control panels and working with hand tools.\nMust be able use fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and/or hear. \nEmployee must possess adequate vision to include close visual confirmation of finely printed documents, have distance vision to safely and correctly identify objects and or markings.\nMust be able to work overtime, long hours, weekends, and holidays. \nLicenses/Certificates:\nRail King certification\nSkills: Ability to work independently and as part of team\nAbility to recognize onsite risk factors and take appropriate action with firmness and tact\nMust have excellent interpersonal, communications, and organizational skills. \nMust be multi-task oriented with the ability to handle many activities simultaneously. \nMust have the ability to think independently and make decisions that are in the company’s best interest. \nAdditional Job Details:\nSupervisory Responsibility: None\nWork Environment:\nExpected to performing essential rail functions in a safety sensitive and production environment in and around a warehouse and railyard.\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:\nThis is a full-time position.
