This role involves validating system behavior, documenting results, and supporting the integration of new networking configurations into operational platforms.\nMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop network configurations for aircraft.\nTest network configurations for aircraft.\nDevelop sub-programs and driver code in high-level programming languages (C++, C).\nTest and document system behavior, performance, and security.\nTest and develop new networking configurations.\nMonitor and analyze network usage and capacity for UAV systems.\nSolve problems by following standardized practices and procedures.\nCollaborate with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.\nDesign, write, and update system documentation and network diagrams.\nInstall, configure, and troubleshoot network architecture.\nAnalyze existing hardware, software, and networking systems.\nCreate and implement scalable networks according to specifications.\nResolve technical issues involving networks, hardware, and software.\nPerform other duties as necessary and/or required.\nBASIC REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Network Security, or a related field with 2-5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 2 years of related experience.\nSecurity clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance.\nTechnical experience supporting hardware development utilizing antenna, RF, digital, and microelectronic technologies.\nExperience with coding and scripting languages (e.g., C++, C, Python, Arduino, MATLAB).\nExperience working with sensor payloads.\nExperience with aerospace development, production, or operations.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nKnowledge of and interest in computer systems and emerging technologies.\nAbility to learn new technologies quickly.\nAbility to communicate complex procedures to colleagues.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAttention to detail and a desire to investigate data thoroughly.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to sit for prolonged periods while working at a desk and computer.\nMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds.\nAbility to traverse a manufacturing
