This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring standardized maintenance policies, procedures, and practices to ensure safe, consistent, and compliant UAS operations.\nThe Standardization Maintenance Technician works closely with Maintenance, Flight Operations, and Training teams to support standard operating procedures (SOPs), assess adherence to established standards, and drive continuous improvement through audits, spot checks, data analysis, and corrective actions. Some travel is required to support operational sites and standardization activities.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupport the development, review, and implementation of maintenance standardization policies, procedures, and SOPs supporting UAS flight operations.\nAssist in the stand-up and ongoing development of the Maintenance Standardization framework and function.\nTrack organizational adherence to maintenance standardization through spot checks, audits, data collection, and evaluations.\nSupport investigations related to maintenance discrepancies, procedural deviations, or standardization findings.\nIdentify gaps in maintenance procedures or execution and recommend corrective actions to improve consistency and compliance.\nCollaborate with Maintenance, Flight Operations, and Training teams to support standardized practices across all operational environments.\nSupport development and delivery of maintenance-related training materials and standardization guidance.\nMaintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready documentation related to maintenance standards, findings, and corrective actions.\nSupport internal and external audits, inspections, or assessments as required.\nTravel to operational sites as necessary to support standardization, training, and oversight activities.\nPerform other duties as are necessary and/or required.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or GED required and 5+ years of relevant aviation experience, including Group 3 UAS operations or comparable aircraft operations.\n2 years of experience in UAS maintenance standardization, quality, training, or oversight roles.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.\nDemonstrated experience developing manuals, training materials, and operational or maintenance procedures for UAS operations.\nAbility to assess maintenance performance and identify trends, risks, and procedural gaps.\nStrong understanding of maintenance best practices, documentation standards, and procedural compliance.\nStrong written communication skills for SOPs, manuals, and audit documentation.\nEffective verbal communication skills for collaboration and training support.\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to safety, compliance, and standardization.\nAble to travel up to 75%.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nCompletion of training or a degree in aviation, engineering, or a related field.\nMilitary flight experience is highly desirable.\nPrior Department of Defense (DoD) or government contractor standardization experience.\nFAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification.\nPrivate Pilot License (PPL).\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to traverse manufacturing facility.\nMust be able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation, including, but not limited to, perceiving differences in wire cable colors;
