This role will lead software demonstrations, address technical product questions,manage prospect pilots, and support implementations. It is required that this role can understand and close enterprise transactions. The Senior Solutions Engineer needs to understand all aspects of our product and business. \nEssential Responsibilities:\nWork with Sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base\nUnderstand all aspects of our product and business\nCreate and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition\nAddress technical product questions from prospects clients\nLead and manage prospect pilots\nCollaborate with Engineering, Product, Sales and Support to provide excellent customer experience\nGather current and potential customer specifications to ensure proper system configurations for their requirements\nSuccessfully match customer customer business needs to proposed solutions\nEffectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements\nManage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses\nCollect and document competitive intelligence\nEducation and Experience:\n8+ years related experience\nProven work experience as a Solutions or Sales Engineer\nAbility to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives\nSolid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent presentation and creativity skills\nStrong experience with ROI calculators and other value creation tools\nAbility to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner\nAbility to travel 50%+\nSolid project management skills\nAbility to work within a team environment \nExperience with enterprise class commercial vehicle fleets or enterprise customers \nExperience with Class 8 fleets\nFamiliarity with the HOS and ELD rule sets. \nPhysical Requirements:\n\nThis role requires minimal to light physical effort when performing duties such as sitting stationary, standing, and bending. Our job titles for each posting may span across more than one job level. The estimated base salary for this role is between $126,000 and $160,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire base salaries across all US locations. Compensation packages are based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, work experience, relevant trainings and certifications, business needs, market demands and specific geographical location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
