We run the monthly close, reconcile the\nbalance sheet, support the external audit, and work closely with the Finance\nBusiness Partners so that management gets accurate, insightful and reliable\ndata for its decisions. We are a team of 10 colleagues, and you will report to\nthe Finance Manager.\nAbout the Role\nThis role\nis based in North Macedonia.\nLearn how a UK telecom group closes its books, and own a real part\nof it.\nYou'll work\nevery day with colleagues in the UK and build hands-on skills in month-end\nclose, reconciliation and IFRS, on real network costs.\nThis is a full accounting role: you own your tasks. You report to\nthe Finance Manager, who supports you together with an experienced Management\nAccountant in your first months.\nNo previous experience is\nrequired.\nYou'll work with D365, Power BI, Medius, FloQast and Excel.\nWe'll train you on the ones you\nhaven't used.\nRequirements\nKey responsibilities\nHelp prepare the monthly results for our\nnetwork products, including the P&L and short written commentary.\nHelp account for network operating expenses(OPEX), including leases under IFRS 16.\n\nPrepare balance sheet reconciliations andupload them to FloQast, our close software.\n\nPrepare and update the monthly reports foreach network product type, which we call models.\n\nWork with large sets of data in our financesystems and Excel.\n\nAnswer questions from finance colleagues andauditors, and help find the cause of any difference.\n\nLearn IFRS 16 (leases) on real transactions,and understand how it connects to IFRS 15 (revenue), which our revenue\naccountants handle.\n\nSuggest ways to make our processes faster andmore accurate.\n\nSuccess Criteria\nYour reconciliations are on time and need fewcorrections.\n\nYour monthly reports are reliable anddelivered on schedule.\n\nYou understand the numbers behind yourreports, and you ask early when something looks wrong.\n\nYou regularly suggest a way to make the workfaster or more accurate.\n\nEssential\nA degree, or final-year studies, in finance,preferably accounting, or equivalent practical accounting experience.\n\nA basic understanding of management accountingprinciples.\n\nGood Excel: you can build a report from rawdata.\n\nFluent English, written and spoken.\nCare with numbers and a habit of checking yourown work.\n\nComfort with learning new finance systems.\nDesirable\n\n·Experience in a corporate environment.\nExperience with an ERP or accounting system.\nExperience working with business partners.\nBasic knowledge of
