We run the monthly close, reconcile the\nbalance sheet, support the external audit, and work closely with the Finance\nBusiness Partners so that management gets accurate, insightful and reliable\ndata for its decisions. We are a team of 10 colleagues, and you will report to\nthe Finance Manager.\nAbout the Role\nThis role\nis based in North Macedonia.\nCapital investment is one of\nthe biggest numbers in a telecom company, and in this role it is yours. You'll\nplay a key role in the accuracy and timely delivery of our reporting, working\nat the heart of the Record-to-Report process (the path from posting transactions\nto the final reports).\nYou'll partner with UK Finance\nBusiness Partners and provide the financial insight that supports investment\ndecisions.\nWe are looking for someone who combines solid accounting knowledge\nwith a proactive mindset and a sharp eye for detail. You'll work with D365,\nPower BI, Medius, FloQast and Excel. \nWe'll train you on the ones you haven't\nused.\nRequirements\nKey responsibilities\nRun the monthly close for CAPEX, fixed assets,assets under construction (AUC, projects not yet finished and in use) and\nleases.\n\nPrepare and review balance sheetreconciliations, so every figure is supported and ready for audit.\n\nWork with UK Finance Business Partners onCAPEX reporting and analysis, and support their ad hoc forecasting and\nbudgeting requests.\n\nDeliver monthly reporting with varianceanalysis and clear commentary on what changed and why.\n\nAnswer external audit requests and explain theaccounting treatments behind your balances.\n\nFind ways to make our processes, controls andreporting faster and more accurate.\n\nSuccess Criteria\n·Your month-end numbers are accurate, on\ntime and fully supported.\nAn auditor can follow your reconciliations without a long list ofquestions.\n\nFinance Business Partners trust your figures.\nSomething in our process regularly gets faster or cleaner becauseof you.\n\nEssential\nA degree in finance, preferably accounting.\nAt least 3 years in management accounting,financial accounting or record-to-report.\n\nStrong month-end close and balance sheetreconciliation experience: you know an account is not finished until every\nline is explained.\n\nAdvanced Excel: you can build a full reportfrom raw data.\n\nHands-on experience with fixed assets, CAPEXor lease accounting (IFRS 16).\n\nFluent English, written and spoken, forreporting and daily contact with UK colleagues.\n\nComfort with learning new finance systems.\nDesirable\nExperience in a multinational company.\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365),Power
