This role will lead the architecture, engineering, implementation, and sustainment of secure hybrid cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure and AWS, combining strategic design with hands-on engineering and collaboration across technical and cybersecurity teams.\nThis role is located on-site in Fort Belvoir, VA or Albuquerque, NM.\nCandidate must hold an active DoD TS/SCI clearance at the time of hire.\nWhat you get to do.\nArchitect, design, engineer, and implement secure hybrid cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure and AWS.\nDesign and deploy greenfield cloud environments to support DoD mission requirements.\nDevelop secure, scalable, resilient cloud architectures aligned with DoD cybersecurity guidance and Zero Trust principles.\nImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.\nDesign and administer Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Server, Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Purview, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).\nEngineer secure network integrations between on-premises infrastructure and Azure and AWS environments.\nImplement cloud-native monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and security services.\nAutomate cloud deployments and operations with PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, AWS CLI, or similar tools.\nCollaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, networking, and application development teams.\nSupport accreditation and compliance with DoD security policies, NIST guidance, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF).\nEvaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend solutions that support mission objectives.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers as needed.\nRequired Skills.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 12+ years of relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nActive DoD TS/SCI clearance at the time of hire.\nCurrent DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, or equivalent).\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.\nAt least five years of experience architecting and implementing enterprise cloud solutions.\nExtensive experience designing and deploying Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services.\nDemonstrated experience architecting hybrid cloud environments integrating on-premises systems with Azure and AWS.\nHands-on experience administering Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Purview, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).\nExperience with enterprise endpoint security, device compliance, application deployment, endpoint configuration, data governance, information protection, and DLP.\nExperience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.\nExperience automating cloud administration using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Azure CLI, and/or AWS CLI.\nStrong understanding of cloud networking, enterprise security, Zero Trust, NIST cybersecurity guidance, and RMF.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in dynamic, mission-focused engineering teams.\nFamiliarity with cloud-connected endpoints, remote users, virtual devices, and non-persistent endpoints.\n\nThe Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
