The role involves ensuring product availability, optimizing inventory levels, improving procurement margins, strengthening vendor relationships, and leading the procurement team to achieve operational and business objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcurement & Order Management\nManage the complete purchase order (PO) lifecycle, including PO release, order follow-up, delivery tracking, and closure.\nEnsure timely procurement to maintain product availability across locations.\nMonitor pending orders and coordinate with vendors to minimize delays and stock-outs.\nVendor Management & Performance\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.\nMonitor vendor fill rates, product availability, and order fulfillment performance.\nDrive margin improvement through effective negotiations and commercial discussions.\nCoordinate payment reconciliation and resolve vendor-related discrepancies.\nInventory & Stock Management\nMonitor inventory levels and optimize stock availability across locations.\nReduce inventory holding days and minimize excess, slow-moving, and non-moving stock.\nEnsure efficient inventory planning based on demand, sales trends, and stock requirements.\nReporting & Data Analysis\nPrepare and analyze procurement reports, vendor performance reports, fill-rate reports, and inventory reports.\nTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement.\nUse data-driven insights to improve procurement efficiency and cost effectiveness.\nTeam Management & Cross-Functional Coordination\nLead, guide, and monitor the procurement team to achieve defined targets.\nCoordinate with internal teams, including Sales, Warehouse, Finance, and Operations, to streamline processes.\nIdentify process gaps, implement corrective actions, and ensure timely issue resolution.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nExperience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.\nStrong vendor management, negotiation, and commercial skills.\nGood understanding of inventory management, stock availability, and procurement planning.\nProficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis.\nStrong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and coordinate with stakeholders across India.\nKey
