This role will own security operations using tools like CrowdStrike, JumpCloud, ManageEngine OpsManager, and our SaaS ecosystem. You will not just respond to alertsyou will improve detection, reduce risk, and automate security workflows.\n\nThe candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions: \n\nEndpoint Security (Primary Ownership): \nManage and optimise policies in CrowdStrike.\nInvestigate and respond to endpoint alerts (malware, suspicious behaviour, lateral movement).\nPerform root cause analysis and prevent recurrence.\nImprove detection coverage using behavioural rules and threat intelligence.\n\nIdentity and Access Security: \nSecure user lifecycle management via JumpCloud.\nEnforce MFA across all systems, least-privilege access, and device trust policies.\nDesign and execute periodic access reviews.\nInvestigate identity-related incidents (account compromise, privilege misuse).\n\nSaaS Security and Risk Management: \nAudit and secure SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, etc. )\nIdentify and remediate:\nOver-permissioned users\nRisky OAuth integrations\nPublic data exposure\nDefine SaaS security baselines and governance controls\n\nIncident Detection and Response: \nOwn the full incident lifecycle.\nDetection, Triage, Containment, Recovery, RCA.\nBuild and maintain incident response playbooks.\nPartner with Service Desk for rapid containment actions.\nContinuously improve response time and accuracy.\nSecurity Automation (Core Expectation).\n\nAutomate: \nUser offboarding (access revocation + device lockdown).\nAlert-driven responses (via EDR and identity tools).\nAccess reviews and compliance checks.\nReduce manual effort and improve consistency across security operations.\n\nMonitoring, Visibility and Correlation: \nCorrelate signals from: CrowdStrike (endpoint), ManageEngine OpManager (infra/network), SaaS audit logs.\nBuild meaningful dashboards and alerts.\nImprove signal-to-noise ratio (reduce alert fatigue).\n\nPolicy, Hardening and Compliance: \nDefine and enforce:\nEndpoint hardening standards.\nIdentity and access policies.\nIncident response procedures.\nSupport audits (ISO/SOC2 if applicable).\nEnsure continuous improvement of security posture.\n\nThe core requirements for the job include the following:\n\nCore Technical Skills: \nStrong hands-on experience with: CrowdStrike (or similar EDR like SentinelOne, Defender), JumpCloud / Okta / Azure AD.\nReal-world incident response experience (not just theoretical SOC work).\nDeep understanding of: Endpoint attack techniques, Identity-based attacks.\nSaaS security risks.\n\nAutomation and Engineering Mindset: \nExperience with scripting (Python / Bash / PowerShell).\nAbility to automate workflows and integrate tools.\nStrong problem-solving and system thinking approach.\n\nSecurity Fundamentals: \nMITRE ATT& CK framework understanding.\nEndpoint detection and response concepts.\nIdentity and access management principles (SSO, MFA, RBAC).\n\nExperience: \n6-10 years in Security Engineering / Blue Team / Endpoint Security.\nExperience in SaaS-heavy or cloud-first environments preferred, with an emphasis on product and growth strategies.\nSkills\nAzure AD, Bash, CrowdStrike, Defender, EDR, JumpCloud,
