Playtech‘s POP Team is looking for a proactive Product Operations Engineer with strong troubleshooting and investigation skills.
Your influential mission. You will...
- Participate in release management flow: applications setup, update, configuration changes
- Handle production problems and incidents
- Process internal and external customers' requests and issues
- Handle production system monitoring (alerting, dashboards)
- Ensure services SLO meets target
- Participate in 24×7 shift on-call rotation for critical production issues handling
Components for success. You...
- Have 2+ years of experience in L2 production application support
- Possess good Linux knowledge and hands-on experience
- Have Kubernetes basics
- Understand network communications and protocols, including HTTP(S), WebSocket, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and load balancing
- Bring strong troubleshooting and investigation skills
- Understand monitoring principles, alerting, performance, and healthiness metrics
- Have hands-on experience with visualization tools, such as Kibana and Grafana
- Have experience using CI/CD tools and processes, including Git, Jenkins, and Argo CD
- Possess intermediate English proficiency or higher
