Headquartered in Elche (Spain) and founded in 2011 by Raúl Torres and Raúl Verdú, PLD Space has established itself as a global benchmark in the small satellite launch sector. Its family of MIURA launchers and LINCE crewed capsule position the company as a leader in European technological sovereignty for space transportation, covering the full spectrum of space missions.\nPLD Space operates over 188,000 m² of facilities in Elche, Teruel (Spain), Kourou (French Guiana), and Duqm (Oman), enabling the company to provide comprehensive satellite and payload launch services into space.\nTeamwork, courage, determination and ambition enable PLD Space to guarantee an autonomous, independent satellite space access capability, based on reliability at a globally competitive price. The company is able to offer best-in-class launch services to commercial satellite operators, institutions, space agencies and national and international governmental entities\nMission\nThe Avionics V&V Engineer is responsible for defining, preparing and assessing the verification and validation activities required to demonstrate that avionics products meet their technical requirements.\nThis role focuses on translating product and system requirements into clear verification strategies, test specifications, acceptance criteria and evidence needs. The Avionics V&V Engineer ensures that tests are technically meaningful, properly traced to requirements, adequately reviewed and supported by robust evidence for product qualification, acceptance, integration and flight readiness.\nThe position requires a strong technical background in electronics and avionics systems, together with the ability to work across product development, testing, production and system-level integration activities.\nResponsibilities\nReview avionics product requirements from a verification perspective, ensuring they are clear, measurable, testable and supported by appropriate acceptance criteria. \nTranslate technical requirements into clear verification objectives, measurable acceptance criteria and evidence needs. \nPrepare and maintain Test Specifications, including objectives of the test, requirements to be covered, required test conditions, expected evidence, and acceptance criteria. \nEnsure proper traceability between requirements, test specifications, procedures, results and closure evidence. \nReview test procedures, test setups and test equipment needs, ensuring they are adequate to verify the intended requirements and generate the required evidence. \nParticipate in technical review milestones, contributing to the identification and closure of open actions, risks and maturity gaps. \nFollow up test execution, ensuring that deviations, configuration changes, unexpected behaviors or evidence gaps are properly identified and assessed. \nProcess and assess test results to determine whether the generated evidence is sufficient to demonstrate compliance with the applicable requirements. \nPrepare and contribute to verification outputs such as qualification and acceptance test reports, verification control documents and compliance matrices. \nSupport anomaly investigations, non-conformances, deviations and retest definition by assessing their impact on requirement compliance. \nIdentify gaps in requirements, verification coverage, acceptance criteria, verification logic, and propose corrective actions or derived verification needs. \nContribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of V&V practices, templates, evidence management and recurrent verification processes. \nSupport the transition from development-oriented testing to recurrent, repeatable and traceable verification processes. \nNecessary Requirements\nEngineering degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering with electronics specialization, or similar. \nExperience in verification, validation, testing or integration of electronic, electrical systems. \nStrong technical background in electrical, electronic and electromechanical systems, including knowledge in power electronics, digital/analog electronics, radiofrequency, harnessing, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems. \nExperience in avionics product verification at different levels, such as PCBA, subassembly, unit, subsystem or system level. \nExperience with functional/performance testing of electronics. \nAbility to analyze technical requirements and translate them into test objectives and acceptance criteria. \nExperience preparing, reviewing or using technical test documentation such as test specifications, test procedures, test reports or verification matrices. \nGood understanding of laboratory test and measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, multimeters, signal generators, DAQs or logic analyzers. \nAbility to interpret test results, logs, measurements and evidence to determine whether a requirement has been properly verified. \nFamiliarity with automated test environments, scripting or data analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Test Stand or similar. \nAbility to work with multidisciplinary teams including design, systems, production, quality and test teams. \nAnalytical mindset, attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills. \nAbility to manage priorities across several projects in parallel. \nStrong communication, coordination and leadership skills in fast-paced technical environments. \nLanguage - fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken. \nDesired Competencies\nPrevious experience in aerospace, launch vehicles, satellites, aircraft, defense, automotive, railway or other safety-critical industries. \nExperience with avionics systems, flight electronics, EGSE, SCOEs, HIL, flatsat, ATB or system-level test environments. \nExperience in qualification and acceptance test campaigns. \nKnowledge of environmental testing such as vibration, shock, thermal cycling, TVAC, EMC or climatic testing. \nExperience with requirement management and verification tracking tools. \nFamiliarity with communication protocols commonly used in avionics or embedded systems, such as CAN, RS-422, RS-485, Ethernet, SpaceWire, SPI, I2C or UART. \nExperience supporting anomaly investigation, root cause analysis, NCRs, deviations or failure review boards. \nKnowledge of standards, processes or best practices related to verification, qualification, acceptance or product assurance in aerospace projects. \nExperience working in fast-paced development environments transitioning towards recurrent production. \nCapacity to work autonomously while maintaining alignment with program priorities and engineering processes. \nBenefits\nHealth & Wellness\nPhysiotherapy within our facilities \n50% discount on your health insurance \nYou can sign-up your family members with
