Additionally, you will be actively\ninvolved in the equipment and tooling request, design and sourcing. Also you\nwill act as a QA role for the NDT executions. PLD Space or supplier locations.complex problems.\n·\nOccasionally travel to other PLD Space or supplier\nlocations.\nNecessary Requirements\n·\nMaterials, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineer or other\nrelated disciplines (e.g. Physics).\n·\nFluency in English is mandatory.\n·\nFluency in digital review and processing of NDT data\nis mandatory.\n·\nDeep knowledge of main NDT methods (visual, dye\npenetrant, radiography, ultrasound).\n·\nGood knowledge of materials (steels, nickel alloys,\ncopper alloys, aluminum alloys, FRP…), manufacturing techniques (rolling,\nforging, casting, additive…) and their associated defects.\n·\nUsed to work with standards (ECSS, ISO, EN, ASTM,\nASME, MIL).\nDesired Requirements\n·\nKnowledge of additional NDT methods\n(eddy currents, PAUT, TFM, CT, CL)\n·\nKnowledge of NDT requirements of\nspecific codes or standard frameworks (BPVC, ISO 17635, AWS D17.1, etc.).\n·\nKnowledge of NDT personnel qualification\nstandards (ISO 9712, EN 4179, etc.)\n·\nBasic skills in electronics will be\nwelcomed.\n·\nBasic knowledge of CAD shall be\nwelcomed.\n·\nProgramming experience (Matlab, Python,\nJava) is desirable.\n·\nKnowledge about specific
