The company is able to offer best-in-class launch services to commercial satellite operators, institutions, space agencies and national and international governmental entities\nMission\nAs a Propulsion Integration Engineer your main mission within the area will be to define\nthe integration processes associated to the propulsive components of the\nrocket, as well as to provide an adequate follow up at the workshop to\nguarantee the proper execution of these processes.\nResponsibilities\nDevelopment,implementation, and optimization of assembly procedures for rocket engine\nsystems and propulsive components: assembly manuals, work orders, post-assembly\ninspections and reports... Continuous improvement of assembly processes (based\non lessons learned) to bring products from prototype to high-volume production.\n\nAssemblyof rocket engines, fluid systems and others. Perform assembly processes\n(mechanical joints by means of fasteners, bolts and screws, sealing, functional\nand leak tests) of engines, turbopumps and other propulsive components (rigid\npipes, valves, metallic supports and brackets, electrical and avionics\nequipment and harness).\n\nTechnicalsupport and problem solving during assembly procedures.\n\nSupport at the organization of tasks and projects within the team.\nWorkwith our design engineers and supply chain in evolving our designs to improve\nquality and assembly, and simplify operations. Then implement in a\nrapidly-evolving production environment.\n\nCollaborationwith design and manufacturing of tooling and support equipment to facilitate\nhardware assembly.\n\nAttentionto detail and establishment of a highly structured integration environment.\n\nQuicklyresolve non-conformances and work with the Quality team to implement root cause\ncorrective actions.\n\nImplementationof quality assurance processes according to specifications, norms and\nstandards.\n\nMaintainingan operational safe, clean and well-organized integration environment.\n\nNecessary Requirements\nHighlevel in both written and spoken English and Spanish.\n\nBachelor'sdegree in aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical\nengineering or another relevant field.\n\nProven+2 year experience with assembly and integration of complex, multi-disciplinary\nsystems in aerospace, aviation, automotive or similar quality-oriented industries\n(past work experience, internships, team/personal projects qualify).\n\nHands-onproject and assembly experience with mechanical or/and high pressure fluid\nsystems.\n\nExperiencewith the following: assembly planning and process definition, documentation and\nreports creation, process tracking and quality control according to standards.\n\nUnderstandingof engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and assembly, including\nworking knowledge of GD&T and design considerations.\n\nFullproficiency in MS office tools expected.\n\nExperiencewith CAD software (NX desired), 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.\n\nExperiencewith ERP systems, work order creation/management, and BOM structures.\n\nAbilityto learn, lead others, and help others learn while maintaining high performance\nlevel.\n\nDesireto work hands-on, both independently and as part of a team.\n\nDesired Requirements\nFamiliaritywith some of the following: design for manufacturing, kaizen, lean\nmanufacturing, six sigma and failure mode and effects analysis.
