The company is able to offer best-in-class launch services to commercial satellite operators, institutions, space agencies and national and international governmental entities\nMission\nAs a Quality\nManagement System (QMS) Engineer your mission will be to lead and support\nquality assurance initiatives across our organization. In this role, you will\nbe responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining PLD Space QMS. You\nwill also execute audits, maintain ISO certifications (including 9100 and\n14001), manage quality documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional\nteams to ensure compliance with industry standards. You will drive continuous\nimprovement, oversee quality metrics, support program stakeholders, and promote\na culture of operational excellence and regulatory compliance.\nResponsibilities\nPlan, execute, and lead internal and external auditsin accordance with ECSS, ISO 9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.\n\nDrive the development and implementation of processesto achieve and maintain ISO certifications, including ISO 9100 and ISO 14001.\n\nOversee quality gates, Key Performance Indicators(KPIs), and control mechanisms to ensure product compliance throughout the\nlifecycle.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensurereadiness for certification audits and address any gaps in compliance.\n\nServe as the primary point of contact duringcertification and surveillance audits conducted by external bodies.\n\nPerform risk assessments and implement risk mitigationstrategies to address potential quality and safety hazards.\n\nManage configuration control and documentation forcertifications such as ISO 9100 and ISO 14001.\n\nPrepare reports, guidelines, and manuals to supportboth internal teams and external reviews.\n\nMonitor and analyze quality data to identify trendsand opportunities for improvement.\n\nDrive initiatives to foster a culture of quality andoperational excellence within the organization.\n\nStay updated on industry best practices, qualitystandards, and regulatory requirements, and ensure their integration into the\nproduct assurance processes.\n\nGenerate documentation, including user guides,guidelines and user manuals for internal customers.\n\nGenerate documentation for formal program developmentreviews.\n\nProvide high-level and low-level feedback for MIURA 5program development planning.\n\nNecessary Requirements\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, withpreference in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.\n\nFluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.\nMinimum of 3 years in quality assurance, preferably inthe aerospace industry.\n\nExperience in implementation, certification and/ormaintenance of a Quality Management System based in ISO 9100.\n\nExperience in implementation, certification and/ormaintenance of an Environmental Management System based in ISO 14001.\n\nStrong knowledge of quality management principles,auditing processes, and regulatory compliance.\n\nStrong understanding of quality management principles,quality control techniques, and product assurance processes.\n\nKnowledge of configuration management, documentcontrol, and change management processes.\n\nExperience with quality management software tools andsystems.\n\nDesired Requirements\nExperience in product assurance orquality management within the aerospace industry and with ECSS standards:\n\n- ECSS-Q-ST-10C (Space Product Assurance)\n- ECSS-Q-ST-10-09 (Nonconformance Control\nSystem)\n- ECSS-Q-ST-20 (Quality Assurance)\nKnowledge of launch vehicle orspacecraft manufacturing and testing processes.\n\nFamiliarity with quality managementtechniques and tools, such as 8D, 5 Whys, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects\nAnalysis).\n\nExperience with suppliers' managementand quality control of external deliverables.\n\nCertification in quality management orproduct assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality
