launch complex team, you will be responsible for the Design of launch pads structures.\nIn addition, it will play a crucial role in the validation testing, definition of manufacturing processes and mounting operations, ensuring the quality of our launch pads structures.\nResponsibilities\nDesign metallic structures for launch pads sites (different size range of machined components, beams, sheet metal parts, welded structures). \nAchieve stress justification for new designs by using hand calcs and FEA methods for composites and metals. \nPerform random, sine and modal dynamic analyses. \nGeneration of Engineering documentation such as 3D models, Drawings, BOMs, structural calculation report, manuals and technical reports. \nLiaise with others Engineering areas (hydraulic system, Fluid, mechanism, etc.) and provide information to Manufacturing and mounting area under request. \nAccomplish with Sub-System requirements along the entire lifecycle from prototype, testing and production. \nSupport the supply chain department in purchases of designed elements and subsystems, ensuring compliance with requirements, specifications, delivery time and cost. \nNecessary Requirements\nBachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering. \nMinimum 3 years of experience in a similar position. \nProficiency in 3D design software (Solidworks, Solid Edge, NX , Catia or Inventor) \nProficiency in FEM software (Cype Cad, Solidworks, Ansys, Altair, etc) \nKnowledge in application of design criteria and selection of materials according to their mechanical properties, according to the loading conditions, working environment, etc. \nFamiliar with manufacturing technologies (machining, sheet metal forming, welding), and assembly’s processes \nKnowledge of the most common corrosion prevention rules and surface protection. \nProven in the development of products from the concept design through to the production and delivery of assembly. \nKnowledge in application of design criteria and selection of materials according to their mechanical properties, according to the loading conditions, working environment, etc. \nAble to work autonomously with little supervision \nAvailability to travel occasionally. \nFluent written and oral communication in Spanish. \nDesired Requirements\nMaster’s degree in mechanical engineering \n5 years of experience in a similar position. \nKnowledge of Siemens NX & Teamcenter \nExperience in the aerospace industry is a plus \nDemonstrated experience in design of structures and industrial machinery \nFamiliarity with industry standards (DIN, ISO). \nFamiliarity with mechanical design and manufacturing processes. \nSoft skills such as effective communication with stakeholders, ability to work in multidisciplinary
