The company is able to offer best-in-class launch services to commercial satellite operators, institutions, space agencies and national and international governmental entities\nMission\nSystems Engineer for MIURA 5 launch vehicles and\nassociated equipment and testing as well as future launch operations. This\nposition is created to help PLD Space to grow in the area of engineering. The\nmission of this role is to contribute as Systems Engineer for PLD Space launch systems,\nincluding both, launch vehicles and associated ground segments.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, manage and track system andsubsystem requirements, including verification techniques and interface\ncontrol.\n\nSupport to Verification and Validationactivities, including the management of tracking activities and records generation\nwith associated tools and processes.\n\nWork proactively and collaborativelywith the engineering team and customer to identify, track, mitigate, and\nresolve technical/programmatic issues that may arise during program execution.\n\nServe as part of the engineering focalpoints for mission requirements and exchange of technical information between\nsubsystems on launch systems and payloads.\n\nAssist with the development of design,integration, and test processes, procedures, and configurations for launch\nvehicles in concert with other engineering disciplines.\n\nProvide support for design/analysisresults level to technical team and program management.\n\nBe part of launch vehicle simulation analysisand other performance analysis across launch system functions.\n\nAssist with the development of testmethods and plans according to defined requirements.\n\nSupport program planning and executionincluding scope, scheduling, and resource allocation.\n\nTo participate and/or lead theorganization of technical review processes, according to program milestones and\nlaunch system maturity.\n\nBe part of CONOPS definition, upgradeand active implementation.\n\nExchange with Range Authorities about conformityprocesses and Launch Base compatibility.\n\nSupport for proposals preparation andlaunch system future development.\n\nElaborate technical documentation (plans,specifications, design definition documents, interface control documents,\nreports…).\n\nNecessary Requirements\nMaster’s degree in aerospace engineering, ElectricalEngineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or equivalent.\n\n+2 years’ experience with Systems Engineering toolsand processes\n\n+2 years’ experience with space systems, satellite,launch vehicles, etc.\n\nExperience managing technical budgets, requirements,V&V, AIT and plan definition.\n\nExperience in environmental testing,thermal vacuum, vibration, electromagnetic compatibility, as well as test\nmethods and validation.\n\nFamiliarity with hardware test programrequirements captured in industry standards including ESA ECSS Standards,\nSMC-S-016, NASA-STD-7001, NASA-STD-7002 and GSFC-STD-7000.\n\nAbility to work with multidisciplinary teams intechnical and programmatic areas.\n\nExperience inmanaging / interfacing subcontractors.\n\nDesired
