This position involves a combination of technical expertise in control systems, electrical engineering, and maintenance practices within a food manufacturing environment.Duties and Responsibilities:\nControl Systems Management:\nMaintain control systems for various manufacturing equipment and processes.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and other automation components.\n\nOptimize control strategies to enhance equipment efficiency, reliability, and safety.\n\nElectrical Systems Maintenance:\nConduct preventive maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including motors, drives, sensors, and other electrical components.\n\nDiagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted production.\n\nCollaborate with the maintenance team to develop and execute maintenance schedules and procedures.\n\nSafety and Compliance:\nAdhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.\n\nPerform regular safety inspections and participate in safety training programs.\n\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to electrical and control systems.\n\nContinuous Improvement:\nIdentify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve productivity and reduce costs.\n\nImplement upgrades and modifications to existing control systems to enhance performance and reliability.\n\nDocumentation and Reporting:\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and troubleshooting efforts.\n\nDocument control system configurations, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation as needed.\n\nFlexibility to work non-standard hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.\n\nPerforms all other duties as assigned.\n\nMinimumJob Requirements:\nEducation/Certificationsand Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED, required.\n\nTechnical or AssociateDegree, Electrical Journeyman’s License, orcertificate in related trades, preferred.\n\nBachelor'sDegree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field, is a plus.\n\nAt least 1year of related experiencein a manufacturing environment.\n\nProven experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of control systems in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.\n\nKnowledge,Skills,andAbilities:\nProficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMI development, and SCADA systems.\n\nStrong understanding of electrical systems, including motors, drives, and industrial sensors.\n\nKnowledge of safety standards and regulations related to electrical and control systems.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n\nEffective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.\n\nAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.\n\nWillingness to adapt to changing priorities and learn new technologies as needed.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nN/A\n\nWorking Conditions and Physical Effort:\nWork involves daily and frequent exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, odors, darkness and/or poor lighting,noise,and vibration.
