This role is responsible for quarterly and annual external reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP, monthly and quarterly internal reporting, foreign currency translation, intercompany eliminations, and consolidation activities. This position will support timely and accurate completion of month-end close processes. The position serves as a SAP super-user and plays a key role in financial analysis, audit support, debt compliance, and continuous improvement of internal controls. The role partners cross-functionally, supports corporate initiatives including acquisitions and special projects.Duties and Responsibilities:\nManage the preparation of the Company’s consolidated financial statements including:\nManage the preparation of quarterly and annual external financial statements in compliance with US GAAP requirements.\nManage monthly and quarterly internal reporting, including the preparation and review of the consolidated financial statements.\nEnsure the accuracy of the Company’s consolidated financial statements.\nMaintain schedules and supporting documentation for consolidations and financial statements.\nSupport timely and accurate completion of month-end activities including ensuring accurate journal entry postings and review of balance sheet account reconciliations.\nOversee the foreign currency translation and US GAAP conversion of foreign subsidiaries.\nOversee analyses of key financial metrics and financial variances.\nMaintain technical expertise and knowledge of US GAAP.\nResearch accounting guidance to determine appropriate reporting requirements.\nPerform monthly inter-company reconciliation, profit elimination, and consolidation.\nLead preparation of quarterly debt compliance calculations and documentation.\nSupport the year-end audit including direct interaction with the independent auditors.· Serve as super-user for SAP.\nSupport additional Corporate Accounting initiatives including:\nContinuous evaluation and improvement of internal controls.\nManage the preparation and filing of government census reports.\nAssist with due diligence, integration, and other projects related to planned acquisitions, expansions, or other special projects.\nProvide support to outside departments, as needed.\nSupport other Corporate Accounting initiatives and responsibilities, as necessary.\nPerform all other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Job Requirements:\nEducation/Certifications and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field. CPA is required.\nMinimum of 8 years of consolidation and financial reporting experience, preferably in a multinational environment. Relevant experience with Big 4 public accounting firm preferred.\nMinimum of 8 years of experience in performing financial analysis to include: g/l account reconciliation and analysis, forecast and trend analysis, budget to actual analysis.\nExperience with SAP/BPC will be an advantage. \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote, as well as other relevant software tools.\nProficient experience in researching and applying accounting principles and concepts.\nDetail oriented with strong critical thinking skills.\nAbility to be self-directed with limited supervision. \nSuperior communication and people skills including collaboration, communication, and team building.\nFundamental leadership and management skills. \nAbility to challenge assumptions and ideas. \nAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.\nCollaborator with the ability to build and foster working relationships across departmental lines. \nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nManage and develop direct reports in accordance with organizational needs.\nWork requires supervising and monitoring work performance of direct reports including making final decisions on hiring and disciplinary actions, evaluating program/work objectives and effectiveness, and realigning work and staffing assignments, as needed.\nDevelop functional responsibilities of individuals that report to this position and ensure that best in-class output is created.\nWorking Conditions and Physical Effort:\nPrimarily office-based work environment.\nRegular use of a computer and standard office equipment\nMust be able to lift up and carry 15 pounds at times.\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nExpectations:\nWill demonstrate, promote, and exemplify the Company’s Core Values.\nAt C.H.
