You will play a crucial role in maintaining productivity, managing resources effectively, and fostering a positive working environment.Duties and Responsibilities:\nTeam Leadership:Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to ensure high levels of performance and morale.\nDelegate tasks effectively, ensuring workload distribution is equitable and efficient.\nProvide guidance and support to resolve any issues or conflicts within the team.\n\nProduction Oversight:Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with established procedures and quality standards.\nCoordinate with other departments such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics to optimize production flow.\nImplement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.\n\n Resource Management:Assist in scheduling production activities and allocate resources (including manpower, equipment, and materials) efficiently to meet production targets.\nIdentify opportunities for improvement in production efficiency and cost reduction.\n\nQuality Assurance:Conduct regular inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications.\nAddress any deviations from quality standards promptly, implementing corrective actions, as necessary.\nCollaborate with the quality control team to implement and maintain quality management systems.\n\n Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production volumes, downtime, and quality metric in production reporting system (Redzone).\nPrepare reports on production performance, identifying trends, issues, and areas for improvement.\nCommunicate production status and issues to management in a timely manner.\n\nFlexibility to work non-standard hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.\nPerforms all other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Job Requirements:\nEducation/Certifications and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED, required.\nBachelor’s degree in Food Science, Manufacturing Management, or a related field, preferred.\nPrevious experience in food manufacturing or a similar industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nProficient use of computer, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), and other related applications or software.\nStrong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.\nSolid understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations in the food industry.\nAbility to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.\nBilingual is a plus.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nWork requires supervising and monitoring performance for a regular group of employees or a work unit, including providing input on hiring / disciplinary and work objectives / effectiveness, and realigning work as needed.\nWorking Conditions and Physical Effort:\nWork involves daily exposure to unusual elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, darkness and/or noise. Seasonal exposure to weather elements includes, but is not limited to, extreme temperatures, wetness, and humidity.\nWork environment involves daily exposure to physical risks such as working around mechanical equipment, forklifts, chemical hazards, and electrical hazards.\nPosition requires the ability to sitting frequently at a desk, walking around the office and plant; carrying packages up to 50 pounds; utilizing fine dexterity; reaching and kneeling on a daily basis.\nExpectations:\nWill demonstrate, promote, and exemplify the Company’s Core Values.\nAt C.H. The salary range for this role is:\n$62,886.00 - $109,104.00Actual compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location.\nC.H.
