Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this role ensures the integrity, consistency, and strategic relevance of the financial information used by Executive Management and the Board, and provides independent financial insight across Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, and Corporate functions, with particular emphasis on forward-looking analysis, scenario planning, and value creation.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nEnterprise Financial Planning & Forecasting\nLead the enterprise budgeting, quarterly rolling forecast, and long-range planning process - including calendar, assumptions, templates, consolidation, and review - and support the Vice President, Finance in driving the annual operating plan.\nEstablish standardized planning assumptions, methodologies, and planning calendars across the organization.\nEnsure consistency, accuracy, and transparency across volume, revenue, cost, margin, and cash-flow forecasts.\nPerformance Management & Reporting\nDeliver enterprise performance reporting and prepare management, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Board, and investor materials in support of the Vice President, Finance and CFO.\nProvide clear analysis of financial performance, trends, risks, and key value drivers - including volume, price/mix, and cost per unit - and develop and maintain enterprise financial and performance KPI dashboards and management-reporting packages in partnership with the Vice President, Finance.\nTranslate complex financial data into concise, decision-oriented insight for executive decision-making.\nEstablish and own the enterprise multi-dimensional P&L framework (Product Category, Channel, Platform, and Plant), enabling consistent review of historical and forecasted performance across the business.\nStrategic, Scenario & Investment Analysis\nLead scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and stress testing in support of strategic planning and risk management.\nProvide financial modeling and analysis to support the Vice President, Finance and CFO in evaluating strategic initiatives, capital investments, and M&A.\nSupport the VP Finance in shaping long-term financial strategy, capital allocation, and resource prioritization.\nForecast Governance & Data Integrity\nOwn enterprise forecast governance, ensuring disciplined review cycles, accountability for assumptions, and transparency of drivers.\nPartner with Accounting and Controllership to ensure alignment between actual results, forecasts, and reported financial outcomes.\nEnsure the accuracy, consistency, and auditability of financial data used in planning and performance reporting.\nOversee preparation of lender and covenant compliance certificates and related external reporting, partnering with Controllership and Treasury.\nFinance Systems, Technology & Transformation\nDrive continuous improvement of FP&A planning systems, tools, and reporting automation (e.g., SAP, SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud/SAC, and BI), partnering with the Vice President, Finance and IT on enterprise finance-system initiatives.\nDrive process standardization, automation, and simplification to improve efficiency, scalability, and data quality within Finance.\nSponsor Smart CHG and AI-adoption initiatives to modernize FP&A planning, analytics, and reporting across the enterprise.\nOrganization & Talent Leadership\nBuild, lead, and develop the FP&A organization, including Directors, Managers, and Analysts.\nFoster a culture of accountability, insight, and continuous learning across the team.\nMinimum Job Requirements\nEducation/Certifications and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required; MBA and/or professional certification (CPA, CMA, or CFA) preferred.\nMinimum of 15 years of progressive FP&A or strategic-finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or integrated ERP environment (SAP, including SAP BPC and SAP Analytics Cloud), including at least 5 years leading and developing teams.\nProven ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.\nProgressive financial reporting and analysis experience, including modeling and price/volume/mix analysis; BI and predictive-AI exposure a plus.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nStrong strategic and analytical capability, commercial acumen, and business judgment.\nAdvanced financial modeling and analytical skills.\nDeep understanding of margin, profitability, and cost drivers, including how pricing and revenue models affect enterprise results.\nExcellent stakeholder-management and influencing skills.\nAbility to translate data into strategic insight.\nAbility to be self-directing with limited supervision.\nStrong project-management skills, keeping deadlines, priorities, and people engaged.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nLeads the FP&A organization, including Directors, Managers, and Analysts.\nWork requires supervising and monitoring the work performance of direct reports, including making final decisions on hiring and disciplinary actions, evaluating work objectives and effectiveness, and realigning work and staffing assignments as needed.\nDevelops the functional responsibilities of individuals who report to this position and ensures best-in-class output.\nWorking Conditions and Physical Effort\nPrimarily operates in a professional office environment with standard business equipment and technology.\nPosition is based in San Antonio, TX.\nExpectations\nDeliver accurate, timely financial plans, forecasts, and analysis.\nProduce effective performance reporting and strategic insight.\nMaintain strong FP&A governance and data integrity.\nLead effectively and develop team capability.\nDrive efficiency and process improvements leveraging ERP, BI, and IT tools.\nWill demonstrate, promote, and exemplify the Company's Core Values.\nAt C.H.
