This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless flow of materials, products, and information from suppliers to customers, maintaining efficiency and minimizing costs while ensuring the highest quality standards.Duties and Responsibilities:\nSupply Chain Management:Manage and optimize inventory levels, ensuring alignment with production schedules and demand forecasts.\nCoordinate with the appropriate parties to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.\n\nProduction Planning and Scheduling:Collaborate with production teams to develop and execute effective production schedules.\nMonitor production performance and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing demands and operational challenges.\n\nLogistics and Distribution:Oversee the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring efficient transportation and distribution.\nWork with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs while maintaining delivery performance.\n\nQuality and Compliance:Ensure that all supply chain activities comply with food safety regulations and company quality standards.\nImplement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the integrity of raw materials and finished products.\n\nSupplier Management:Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.\nConduct regular supplier performance reviews and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.\n\nData Reporting:Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to the plant manager.\n\nTeam Leadership:Lead, mentor, and develop the team to ensure high performance and professional growth.\nFoster a collaborative and problem-solving culture within the team.\n\nContinuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.\n\nPerforms all other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Job Requirements:\nEducation/Certifications and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management within the food manufacturing industry.\nProven experience with ERP system - SAP.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nProficient use of computer, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote), and other related applications or software.\nDemonstrated leadership skills and possesses the ability to develop interdepartmental relationships.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nStrong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.\nStrong leadership and team management abilities.\nKnowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nManage one or more direct reports.\nWork requires supervising and monitoring work performance of direct reports including making final decisions on hiring and disciplinary actions, evaluating program/work objectives and effectiveness, and realigning work and staffing assignments, as needed.\nDevelop functional responsibilities of individuals that report to this position and ensure that best-in class output is created.\nWorking Conditions and Physical Effort:\nTypical work in office and manufacturing environment.\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nMust be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times.\nWork involves daily and frequent exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, odors, darkness and/or poor lighting, noise, and vibration. The salary range for this role is:\n$89,026.00 - $163,399.00Actual compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location.\nC.H.
