Inbound Sales Representative

About the role:

We're building a brand-new team dedicated to renewable energy finance, and we're looking for our first wave of Inbound Sales Representatives to help build it from the ground up.

In this role you'll engage exclusively with high-intent customers who've already applied for solar, battery or other renewable finance and are ready to move forward!

You'll guide customers through credit assessment questions, explain renewable scheme eligibility and rebates, and help remove the final barriers between an application and a funded loan. Your focus is on building trust fast, creating the best possible experience, and helping people move forward.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and manage a pipeline of inbound renewable finance enquiries, progressing applications through to funded loans

• Guide customers through credit assessment and renewable scheme eligibility, explaining options and requirements with clear, confident communication

• Explain rebates, incentives and eligibility across various renewable energy schemes so customers can make informed decisions

• Engage customers across phone, email, SMS and live chat to drive sales conversion and deliver a seamless experience

• Proactively re-engage warm leads and stalled applications to maximise conversion opportunities before they expire

• Deliver a personalised experience while maintaining a strong focus on responsible lending and compliance

• Maintain accurate CRM records, capture customer insights, and escalate complex cases where required

• Collaborate with the wider team to share best practice and help define how this new function operates

About you:

You're driven, customer-focused, and motivated by results. You enjoy turning conversations into outcomes, building trust quickly, and following through for your customers. You're excited by the idea of helping build something new and you're genuinely curious about renewable energy.

You'll have:

• 2+ years' experience in a customer-focused or sales role (call centre, retail, financial services or similar)

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust, influence decisions and close opportunities

• A compliance-first mindset and genuine attention to detail

• An interest in renewable energy, solar or sustainability

• A team-player mentality that thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
